This is one of my favorite coffee shops of all time, hands down. Whenever Im in the area, I stop by this little coffee shop in the middle of Alhambra and sit in their gorgeous patio. Lots of sunlight, a fantastic fountain, and great ambiance! The coffee itself is really good. It comes from the nearby Antigua coffee house, who the owner (Yanci) grows his own coffee from Guatemala (I think!). The cafe de olla is really good (orange and cinnamon brewed with the coffee!) Also, check out their hidden menu. Ask for the Juan-two-three. You wont regret it if you like coconut water and caramel! The people who hang out here are generally the artistic type, coming from Cal State LA. The owner sells some of their knick knacks in the front. Theres also some classes and meetups at the shop too. If youre looking for a place to work, chill, or meet friends, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Im a regular here and live in the neighborhood. The owner Steve is like family to our neighborhood and is passionate about creating a space for the community to hold events like workshops, open mics, markets, and music showcases. There is a great variety of coffees and teas all freshly brewed and way more flavorful then any Starbucks or dunkin donuts. The staff are always friendly and engaging. The atmosphere is that sacred vibe with an outdoor patio and soothing fountain and art hanging on the walls from local artists. Occasionally youre greeted by the house cat or Scamp the pup who will chill on a couch with you if youre cool with it. Perfect space for reading, enjoying a quick bite or brainstorming your next life move. Support this local business and youll enjoy the art, the coffee, and the warm community.

Attention Chocoholics! The mother ship has landed on 18th street, hiding there so primly and just waiting for you to glance in...Wahhabi, ha, ha, they have you.Dont fight it, go in, look around, breathe,The truffles are the real deal, the choices delightful and temping, and if youre here at the right time you get to see how they make them. The owner is a prince, helpful and engaging. And this man has a palate and he knows what tastes almost too good. Notice I wrote almost. Enjoy!

This is such a treat. Its like a little corner of heaven. Its in an industrial part of town but once you walk in you can hear the sound of running water and smell the fresh dirt, it feels as if youve transported into another world. I love it. There are couches, comfy chairs, the vibe is relaxed and cozy. theres also a people friendly cat. I had a mango smoothie it as delicious. They have coffee and treats too. This place is work checking out.

1 check-in Wow, such a nice quiet place to study. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was so peaceful. I would so come here often if it was closer to my house just to study or read or relax. My gf and I got the earl grey tea and yerba mate. The teas were pretty strong! Im glad that they give us lots and lots of ice. Make sure that if you need more ice, just come to the front and get a refill with no charge! How awesome!

This is my go-to cafe! I recently moved into the area and googled a cafe nearby. I came in, and instantly fell in love. The decor spoke to me, the freshness of the coffees and teas and breads were delicious, and wait till you see the garden area! Check it out. Youll love it. Ooh and service is always fantastic! ❤

Great Coffee! Cafe de Olla is the house specialty. I like the Dirty Chai. Homeboy Bakery Coffee cake is SO GOOD! The patio is an oasis of peace in L.A. The fountains are soothing. The staff are always neat people. I enjoy being at Holy Grounds for the eats, drinks, and atmosphere.

LA has plenty of coffee shops but if you want good coffee, Holy Grounds is the place to get it! Ive been picking up iced cafe de olla for almost 3 years now and havent found anywhere else that compares. Great atmosphere for sitting down to enjoy a cup and read or study as well.

Great coffee, wide selection of quality teas, friendly staff and a REALLY cool, tranquil garden in the back. Whoever designed that garden is a true artist. Whimsical, creative, slightly quirky, and enchanted are words Id use to describe that garden.

Coffee is awesome here, people are friendly, but best of all there is a huge back patio where you can relax. There are power outlets everywhere, and I believe, free wifi. Its a great study spot.

Serves independent roasters. MOST BEAUTIFUL PATIO/backyard. Steve (GM or owner, not sure) is the best, most magical person in town. If the revolution is sweet and slow, its happening there.
