The absolute best boat noodles in town. Theres been a few other places in the area that serve boat noodles, but none of them do it as well as this place. Their thai iced tea is really really good too. Their other dishes are okay, but Ive never re-ordered one of their other dishes again. Boat noodles are definitely their specialty. Staff is very friendly and they really stay on top of keeping your water filled. Its a small restaurant so during busy hours there may be a wait, but most of the time its pretty empty. Really small, awkward parking lot in front.

Pad Sapp Coffee Shop was really good, but the Pad-Ta-Lay was NOT good at all. Very greasy and, considering the price, did not include much seafood. Also, I ordered my food to go and there were no napkins/utensils included. While I get that would be standard fanfare for people taking it home, Im from out of town and took it back to a hotel room. They should have, at the very least, asked if I needed utensils, or have some placed out by the register for people to grab on their way out.

One of the best Thai foods that I had. All dishes are good. Seriously, I had zero regrets. The portions are reasonable and the price is ok. But if you want to be super happy, just add one more dish than the number of people. Usually, I and my friend order three dishes and we come out with big fat smiles. I personally like pad thai and drunken noodles but everything tastes wonderful. Parking can be annoying. Just try to find parking in northwestern side

I wish we had authentic Thai food like this in San Francisco! Their #3 beef boat noodle (wo liver) was great! We also really enjoyed their Jade(spinach) noodle with vegetable, crab, BBQ pork and duck. Dont miss out on the deep fried crab rolls!!! I love this appetizer and have had it in years. The water chestnuts, pork, and crab are all wrapped up in a tofu skin and deep fried to a light crunchy perfection. ❤️

Its cheaper than nearby restaurants for the casual atmosphere but the food quality is great. They served my Tom kha in a bowl with fire lit underneath it to keep it at a hot temperature, which Ive never had before. I would probably get this with a side of rice next time. I also had the egg rolls which were pretty good as well. Above all else, the service is really good as well.

Tout le menu mérite dêtre exploré, de la Jade noodle soup à louverture à 8h au baked curried chicken à la fermeture. Une délicate alternative au rudoyant Jitlada.

I went with a friend 30 minutes prior to closing (they close super early!) and the waitress was gracious to seat us. They were all very nice despite our arrival close to closing. They took our order very quickly and turn around was incredibly fast! I had the jade noodles with BBQ pork, duck and crab. It was fresh and delicious and was a good portion for $8.50

So maybe I didnt like their papaya salad years back but got the chance to finally try their boat noodle soup, and jade noodles - loved them! New fav boat noodle place, bomb herbal tasting soup. First time ever trying jade noodles, it has sugar, crab meat and green noodles. Dishes costing around $7-9. Local hole in wall joint, cash only.

Dont be fooled by the name of this place or its exterior, this is unbelievable authentic thai food in the heart of Thai town. Boat noodles are a must (kinda like pho but more flavorful), jade noodles, Sen chen pad pu (kinda like pad thai but better) and many many other items. Cant go wrong with a nice thai iced tea/coffee as well!

Sapp Coffee Shop is in the heart of Little Thailand... they are Renowned for their "Boat Noodles"... the Green Jade Noodles is a great way to start your Dining Experience... the Shredded Papaya Salad is also a wonderful side dish...you can taste the love in this family run business... Cash Only...

For a fast paced Asian restaurant, they handled themselves very professionally and actually had a very nimble customer service. Their food is top notched almost at the level of how my mother makes food and you know its pretty serious when you love your mothers Asian cooking!

It quiet, not crowded and serving homestyle Thai food thats unpretentious. The boat noodles have different varieties and come piping hot with a broth to slurp. The crab fried rice unfortunately barely tastes as if it had crab in it. Probably hidden by the fried egg.

Ive never been to Thailand, but have watch a lot of food vlogs on various dishes, including the boat noodles. Hands down, the best first impression of these savoury eats. The broth brought out all the meat flavours in the bowl and the portion was just right!

Thai local spot introduced to me via Jet Tilas tour for Anthony Bourdains "No Reservations." Known for their boat noodles, Im also mad for their Sen Chau Pad Pu which is like Pad Thai on steroids. Jade noodles is also worth trying.

Cash only. Great Thai boat noodles and amazing home-cooked meals from a momma poppa shop restaurant. Local favorite and yummy eats. Very affordable as well. No complaints! Located in a small plaza with ample street parking.

Cash only, and they charge extra for iceless drinks. Chicken larb appetizer and boat noodle soup were both great. Friends were intrigued by the jade noodles (sweet but also savory) but though the boat noodles were better.

Small portions..their website has $5.75 soup and when you get there its $7.25 for a small bowl of mediocre tasting soup. Very few ingredients. The stock lacks depth. Will not recommend or return. Have a nice day.

Super authentic. Really enjoyed all the food, incredibly spicy tho, so if you say "medium" expect your mouth to be on fire... Still tastes amazing through the pain tho haha

Tasty food, pretty basic restaurant, cash only. Definitely worth checking it out if you like Thai food, but things seemed to contain even more sugar than usual.

One of the best cheap eats Ive had in a while. Food is 5/5. But I give them a 4 because the portions were are huge compared to other Thai restaurants.

Has flavor, but very different than I expected. Service is fast but not really friendly. Not your typical Thai food for sure.

Food was excellent, pricing was great, portion size was adequate. Has the feeling of a hole-in-the-wall food joint.

Amazingly excellent Thai food. Every time we came to LA, we would bring lots of takeout from Sapp before leaving.

Love the boat and Jade noodle. Thai ice tea is good but packed with all too much ice.
