The food is fine, not great, but the owner was so rude that I would never go back there again. I won a $50 gift certificate in a raffle to this restaurant. My husband and I went there, ate our meal, and when we gave the gift certificate as payment, the owner came and sat down next to us in the booth and proceeded to question us about the acquisition of said gift certificate as if we were thieves or con-artists. I explained that I had won it in an auction from my school (Im a teacher) and he said that only he and one other woman give out gift certificates, the one I presented didnt have a signature, there is no way either of them would have forgotten to sign it before giving it out, so it must be stolen or a forgery. It was beyond insulting. We tried for 20 minutes to prove our point, that it was valid and from my schools large, annual, and well-known auction, while other diners watched us as if we were criminals, and finally the owner "gave in" since we were so persistent and let us use the certificate. We didnt even use the entire amount of $50, but he would not let us use the certificate again, because he didnt really believe us, he just had no way to prove we had "stolen" it. I think we only used up about $35 of it and lost the rest. It is a pathetic way to run an establishment and to treat respectable patrons. Do not give this person your hard earned money. The food is very mediocre anyway. No comparison to authentic New Orleans food at all.

I met 5 other friends here for brunch. I ordered the eggs benedict & my eggs were not poached but hard boiled. Three of my friends ordered omelets with toast & all three were over cooked with burnt toast. My other friend ordered the club sandwich on ciabatta with no dressing but she got a club sandwich on wheat drenched in dressing. My other friend ordered fish tacos & she said they were mediocre & they left out the cheese. The only thing they got right were the drinks & our server was super nice & very apologetic. She even wanted to join our table & have drinks she felt so bad. So I gave 2 stars cause the drinks were great but the kitchen sucks for brunch. Guess we shouldve come to happy hour instead!

The best beer bar in the Mission, and one of the top three in the city for sure. Also, the two pool tables are a nice touch. The bartenders are really cool and knowledgeable. We would describe what we liked, and they would hook us up, over and over and over, including darks, ales, stouts, Belgians, and even some sour beers that were surprisingly good. You will be drunk before you are able to sample half of them.

Went there for lunch. All seemed okay till I got back to the office. I started getting cramps in my stomach and ended up in the restroom three different times that afternoon and evening. I can assure you that it was not the "type" of food that got me sick. The last time I got as sick was in Mexico and they generally have a sanitation problem. I will never go back to that restaurant.

First time eating here went during the 4 Star Fan Fair for dinner. I dont eat deep fried food but they grilled my chicken for me for my Gulp Restaurant and Brew Pub and it was wonderful. We love brussell sprouts so got those for the appetizer and they give you a full bowl and they were perfect. Food is a bit over priced but they dont skimp plus lots of different beer choices.

Amazing food and friendly service! We try to only eat meat every once in awhile, so we treated ourselves to a steak from Gulp...WOW! So flavorful. The waitress was friendly and the service was quick. We are excited to come back. It is a bit pricey, but not compared to similar restaurants in the area.

This is a fun restaurant, especially during October fest. Get there early and prepare to wait in line for a while during this event. I like that they have a vegetarian menu. Now there is truly something for everyone. This is hard to find in a German restaurant. Only in Los Angeles!

Their burger and beer special is great. Look, this burger is not going to change your life. However, its a good deal for a burger + fries + a craft beer on tap, and its the perfect spot to stop off before a movie at Landmark. They have a great rotating tap selection!

The food was brilliant they were very prompt with the food, all the waitresses were very pleasant and talkative as well as the girls behind the bar. If I come back for a holiday here I will definitely be going there again! :)

We were all very impressed with this place after picking it randomly. Everyone loved their mixed drinks and food. We had the mac and cheese entree, fried chicken and fish and chips. We all left very satisfied. No complaints!

The owner said some of the most racist and offensive things I have heard in a long time. If you want to hear that kind of garbage, you should go here. Otherwise, I strongly suggest finding other places to spend your money.

I always stop in for a beer when I visit Los Angeles, CA. Its tiny, tiny. Dollar bills on the wall along with other memorabilia give it a nice charm. The girl that tends the bar is friendly, as well. Will keep coming back.

Stopped here after walking by and smelling the flavour wafting out the windows. Had the Burger, Fried and Beer special and it was fantastic. Very friendly staff and nice spot. Will visit again!

Lots of TVs and theyre always playing all the games I want to watch, including premiere league games. Alcohol is somewhat pricey and they dont really have any drink specials for large groups.

Took an hour to get food during lunch. Food was cold and veggie burger had no flavor. Would have been 1 star, but 2 stars for nice digs, nice servers, and because this was my first time.

If you catch them on Monday/Tuesday during half-price appetizers times you can eat and drink to your hearts content without breaking the bank on really high quality beer and food.

Impressive selection of craft drafts, with a welcome number of rotating taps. Gastropub food on the goodish side. A good burger and draft for twelve bucks offering every day.

Delicious burger, great beer list and nice atmosphere. At lunchtime there is a $14 draft and burger deal - highly recommend! 3hrs free parking at the Westside Pavilion.

Best burgers in town, had a burger at Gordon Ramsays at Caesar palace in Vegas and it was good but GULP burgers are outstanding, much juicier and tastier.
