A hidden gem in Carson, this brewery seems to specialize in sours. Sours you say? Yeah, SoCal is known for its West Coast Hop IPAs but like a cycle, things begin to change and the uptrend lately is sours. In an small industrial area on main, you have a small parking lot which is shared with a trucking company I think so lots of traffic goes back n forth through this small area so be careful where you park because tons of big rig trucks come n go. But once youre inside youre greeted by a very dark, dim lit building..as your eyes attempt to adjust you see a huge tasting room with lots of room and table for social interaction and a small bar. They have a limited tap list (10 homebrews and usually 3-4 guest beers that change daily) Since this is a small and new brewery, youll see lots of their beers changed daily because of the small batches they make, which is good n bad if youre looking for one you really like. Unfortunately I cant comment on the food because Ive yet to try it but the food does look good for what they offer. They also have wine and a fridge with lots of other breweries for onsite consumption. The price range is good for what they offer. The music and ambience gives off this gloomy, vincent prince mood with a huge 102" big screen in a seperate room that plays music or the B rated horror flicks that you cant bare to watch but cant stop at looking either. And the music ranges from rockabilly to slayer to foreign metal, which is great. The staffing seems friendly for the most part. I will be coming back more as a regular!

WAAAY too overpriced. Way way way way too overpriced. My boyfriend ordered the duck melt and I ordered the medium pork belly fries. Total $20. To make it worse the flavors werent there. The duck melt tasted just as normal as grilled cheese sandwich youd make in college. The fact that it was duck meat made little difference. Nothing in the flavor could distinguish it from any other meat so the surplus you are charged for it being duck meat is moot. The pork belly fries are slathered in an overly sweet sauce. The 5 spice did nothing to help bring out the succulent pork belly flavor and covered up any flavor the meat had to offer. The fries themselves had nothing great to offer. They are equivalent to McDonald fries. In which case would have been a better deal since that would have saved me a lot more money. While the service is friendly the flavors and quality are not there. I stopped here during the Art Walk because the lines for all the other food trucks were insanely long. I should have just waited in line.

Love the vibe and theme of the place but their selection was limited. I guess they started this membership thing and now only members are offerred a bigger selection. Personally that was lame for me. For non-members they have their own blend which are mostly sour beers (pro or con depending on your taste preference). I ordered a pizza item, great tates but portion too small for me. They have a theater room where they play scary movies on Wednesdays. Cool concept but the room is so small. They should think of expanding it. All in all, it was a nice place to visit but because they have such a limited selection and small portions, it wont be my go-to bar.

This place is well worth the hunt to find ( I drove by it 3 times the first time I went here). To start the sour beers are amazing, and their guest beer list is nothing to scoff at either. Next the food here is great, with their own smoked meats. Finally the atmosphere is top notch, dont be fooled by the industrial park exterior, once inside you can enjoy a classic horror movie in their screening room or just enjoy the 80s punk and horror rock in the main room. This is definitely a good place to have a beer and enjoy the atmosphere.

Love the beer, nice setup. Service is really bad, makes you feel like an unwelcome guest in someones house. Nobody is asking if you want anything, makes eye contact. We dont feel welcome. Last time we asked for a check as nobody bothered to ask if we want anything else at any time when beer and food were almost done or even finished. It is bad service if you taking away the empty glass and not ask if you want something else after the first beer and an appetizer while the bar is empty and nobody is ordering anything anywhere.

this place is really hitting the nail on the head when it comes to the "horror" theme theyre trying to go for. upon leaving at about 3pm one Saturday afternoon me and my girlfriend opened the door to go out and felt like Dracula when we saw the sun! its so dark inside (in a good way) and the staff really know how to help you pick a beer. although, very important info: they do not have IPAs or at least thats what the guy behind the counter told me.

This place is hidden from plain sight the entrance is a small door and when you enter you enter this whole other world. The brewery is horror themed and so are the drinks. The broad acres is a strawberry sour beer and the dolores was my favorite.(Dark ale) For all you horror lovers they have a big screen where they always show a different horror movie. Lot of nice horror movie posters and some awesome music beer and the AMAZING food!

Another funky little brewery to put on the list to check in on from time to time!! Once you find it you will be glad you came. Freshly opened (6 weeks) they show great promise, I can only wonder what wonderful sours are ageing in all those used wine barrels. Had a good experience and the house smoked pulled pork was excellent!! Cant wait for the Phantom theater to start showing the classic horror movies!!

Excellent beer in a well designed if terrifyingly dark tasting room. Service is great, and the bartenders know the menu inside and out. The beer is really, really good, and they have enough guest taps that youll always find something to try. Parking is spotty, but its in an industrial space, so not too bad. They could use a sign though...

Not only is the sour beer here excellent, they really went the extra mile to turn this brewery into a fun drinking and eating environment. They usually have a DJ running metal, rockabilly, rock classics, and 50s standards. Great place to enjoy a drink. (The food here was excellent as well...try the bisket).

Great beer & great environment. Usually about 5 of their own beers on tap and about 8 guest beers. Huge selection of guest bottles and wines. Ring & hook game, horror movies, a quieter space for conversation near the ring & hook game and live music at times. One of my favorite breweries for sure.

The Carson area needs more choices like this It is an up and comimg community So its tastes and playtimes should reflect that. Good food and of course, beer. They need to come up with ,yes a malt liquor to appeal to another sector.
