This definitely used to be a great restaurant at one point. It had successfully failed since my grandparents passed away. That should never be a factor, but I have dined here since the whole staff of CBS moved from the original restaurant of "ABC" I have dined here with family and friends. But when my grandparents passed away in 2000 and 2002, the staff had gave us the cold shoulder despite the history we shared with them. It takes more than an 30 minutes to get service and when they seat us, they will seat us near the smelly bathrooms or the kitchen. They show no decency for us. When serving our dishes, they make a sneer emotion on their face as they serve our dishes. I have never experienced so much "attitude" I am not the only one being served this way. I have had countless complaints from friends whom I have had recommended them to eat here and they have experienced the same service despite what nationality they are. I think the service here stinks and needs a new staff and ownership. The food used to be good, but the taste is just non-existant. I have more luck eating at panda express than here.

The Dim Sum is good, not exceptional by any standard. If you want exceptional go down the road to Monterey Park. I went with a friend who had one of those special coupon deals from the Auto Club. When he got the bill and presented the coupon he was informed there would now be a mandatory 15% gratuity added in plus various other sundry charges. All this for a restaurant where I actually had to get up and track down a waiter to get service. When the adjusted bill came back a $25.00 coupon resulted in a $7.00 savings, hardly worth the effort. I told my friend that he should seriously contact the Auto Club an suggest this establishment be removed from their program. All in all a very disappointing experience. Also the bathroom was exceptionally filthy and would probably not pass a health dept inspection, at least not the time we were there, now who knows.

the food was really really good but our server was raising his voice to us and that really made us lost our appetite. and if their having some difficulties in communicating with their customers in english, they should have at least show smile to the diners because theyre not even smiling and its pretty scary -,- then i noticed their carpet, all the food crumbs are on the floor and near their restroom the carpet is really dirty and black. (•~•)and speaking of restroom, its like i entered a public restroom. I saw their old tables inside and outside the restroom.

Went here a few times before: once for dim sum, and the rest of the time for dinner parties. Their seafoods here are pretty amazing. I had the live prawns with dipping sauce, black bean live lobster, crabs, steamed rock cod fish and tilapia. Other great dishes include peking duck and dry beef chow fun. The dim sum was also pretty good. If I had to point out some so-so items to not try here, it is mapo tofu and some other cooked dishes. When you come here, just go for the seafood

No doubt, the reigning king of Sunday dim sum in los Angeles. Dim sum are plump and tasty, authentic. Service is prompt... But you have to be a little aggressive to flag down a dim sum cart during peak hours (noon until 2 on Sundays). Quite inexpensive. Two can get full of the savory treats for about 20 bucks, if you stick to items in categoty "a", which includes all of the traditional and popular varieties . A bit more for the fancier stuff. Great value.

Great price, excellent food and service every time :) I especially like the way they post the prices for the dim sum. No surprises at the end, unlike some other Chinese restaurant which throws in extra charges here and there. I kind of like the noise and crowdiness because it reminds me of the traditional restaurant in Hong Kong (old school). The cart ladies are wonderful. They seem to love their jobs and take pride in their work. Five stars all the way :)

So today was the perfect day for this restaurant. I had a limited amount of time, was starving, and wanted something somewhat healthy. This is where Dim Sum comes in. In a matter of minutes I had three dishes in front me and my bf, including Chinese brocolli. Yum! We were out of there in 45 minutes and $35 later for two of us. One tip, I do not like their seeweed salad.

One of the better dim sum places in Chinatown, great for the basics and if you want to order a la carte from the in-restaurant take-out. Always love the roasted duck, both seeing them hanging in the window and eating them along with the dishes picked from cart ladies pushing certain specials. Close to the metro and enough parking at most times of day and night.

Great place for dim sum and great food selection. Earliest Ive been here for dim sum was about 8:30am. This place tends to get busy around lunch hour on weekdays and typically until dim sum is over on weekends. Also has a carry out/bakery area. Located walking distance from shopping areas of China Town and just a short walk from Union Station.

Food is always good here. We go for dim sum because selection is also good. Service is, well, typical Chinese restaurant. Perfunctory, shall we say. We can usually find parking in their lot with their parking guy jockeying everybody around. Its well worth tipping him because he earns it and it would cost you more to park on the street.

We been coming here since the early 90s. We always get the beef chow mein with pan fried noodles and fried rice with barbecued pork in it. We also get their delicious dim sum and shumai at very reasonable prices. Restaurant is very clean and also the restroom is clean. Employees are friendly and very accommodating. Great service.

Get the half avocado filled with shrimp ceviche!!!! Its $4 and comes with fresh chips and salsa, and is amazing. Im not normally crazy about ceviche but I absolutely loved this, probably had something to do with the half avocado. Nice staff, very inexpensive, and *drum roll please* accepts credit cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been going here for years. The foods is great but the service is the worst in the world. They will overcharge you so keep track of what you order. I would not take a friend because of the service. If you try complained they just point at the door. made me laugh.

Great Chinese food and dim sum. Much better bargain than Ocean Seafood. Their takeout for the dim sum and Chinese BBQ is pretty good as well and does brisk business. Service is ok. Parking is busy on the weekend but has attendant directing traffic.

Food and service were amazing! Actually sat next to the owner for part of our meal and she was gracious and friendly with the customers. Had the oysters, beet salad, crab Louie salad and the Petrale Sole entree and they were all amazing!

Tried their dim sum when I happened to be in the area. It was mediocre at best. It also had a B rating on the door when I visited summer 2016. For better dim sum go to the San Gabriel Valley area. I recommend 888 Seafood restaurant.
