I was a huge fan of Capital Seafood mainly for their decor and food minus the parking. Yesterday, I attended a family wedding and there was a few things that caught my attention that made me second guess their service and restaurant. - The ice bucket somehow had a piece of raw meat in the ice after we had took the thong to put in our cup. - The waiter moved all our Sodas, Pierrer Soda Water, XO bottle, centerpiece to the floor which is fine but also the ice bucket. That made us think how it gets dirty on the floor. - My niece was drinking from their glass and it suddenly broke on her. Is their glass that sensitive? The food is great which I did enjoy. - Cold plate with shrimp, thousand egg, chicken, cold asian style meat, veggies, seaweed, etc. - Deep fried Stuffed crab and shrimp ball - Deep fried bacon wrapped scallops - Abalone with bok choy - Lobster with pepper and green onion sauce - Steamed cod with soy sauce - Fried rice - Abalone Soup - Cake Overall, the wedding was great but we had some odd things happen with our ice bucket.

Yay for dimsum! Best thing about Capital - NO WAIT! Woohoo!! So I know theres a new trend of dimsum restaurants where there arent any carts and its made to order - but I LOVE the carts and talking to the ladies who push them because 1) theyre super friendly and 2) theyre even more friendly when you can speak chinese :D Our group of 7 came here on a Saturday morning at 11:30am and were seated right away. I ordered chrysanthemum tea and various dishes off the carts. A lot of dishes you have to order on the paper, so for those who like that - Capital has it! Shu mai was huge, delicious egg tarts and really couldnt complain about the quality of the food. They had durian pastries, that crispy taro thing and everything that I usually order but dont know the name of in english lol. Our bill was $75 and we had 3 boxes of leftovers - so good and cheap! Capital is in the 99Ranch plaza so parking is easy and you can get groceries and go to the Asian bakery as well!

Pretty standard dim sum restaurant. Located in Asian Central, this restaurant was pretty crowded on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was almost full around 11 AM. My friends and I were seated pretty quickly and the carts rushed almost immediately to our table, presenting us with our many options of goods. I ordered shrimp noodle, beef noodle, har gow, bbq pork buns, chinese broccoli, egg tarts, and sesame balls. The food wasnt anything special for Dim Sum, some of it was even a little cold. Tea was fine. Service was just ok, sometimes it would be difficult to get a waiter and it is not very English friendly, I got by with the little Cantonese I know and my Mandarin speaking friend couldnt do anything. This place is pretty cheap though, and its worth it if you go to Half-and-Half or get dessert someplace nearby!

5 stars normally, we visited this favorite restaurant Friday, March 18, 2011 for dim sum. Ach! Totally not up to their (or our) standards. Overly salty Har Gow, most of our favorite dishes were tasteless and thrown together, and worst of all: the Char Siu Bao had a distinct FISHY taste and odor... not the sort of heave-worthy taste you want in your barbeque pork. Virtually nothing was special, and nothing made it to the good category. I certainly hope that management gets it together soon, and rehires the kitchen staff they once had and desperately need now. (Im assuming here.) We will try it one last time, and if yesterday does not turn out to be a forgivable anomaly we will not go back. And we will miss it.

Omg this plaza is so crazy, it took me forever to find parking in its parking structure EVEN THOUGH IT WAS GINORMOUS. It is a highly busy plaza! This dim sum place is right above the 24 fitness! Its hard to see at first. Came in for my friends birthday dinner so we had a set menu that we already paid for buffet style, and also had a separate reserved room! Some of the dishes I really enjoyed here was the Lobster, Peking duck, and mushroom+broccoli vegetable dish. The service was really good here, they came often to refill our tables with food and also with new hot tea + ice water.

A bustling and loud dining room is teh first sign of how good the food is about to be. The dumplings are wonderful, the spare ribs fantastic and the seafood fresh and delicous. The business of the dining room can mean service is a little slower than at some places, but it definitely worth it! Everything Ive tried here is outstanding. Just make sure you get there early if you dont want to wait for a table, the room is packed from 11am through to 2 or 3 in the afternoon on the weekends.

i bought some dim sum from the next door food to go which belong to capital seafood , they over charged 3 orders, i told the cashier to recounted total dishes i orders, she overcharged $7, then when i checked the receipt total price printed out 13orders x $2.38= $36.14 which is supposed to be $30.94 they fixed the machine to cheat the cutomers, please be careful and double check receipt before paying, i heard about cheating the customers and it proved this is true

Dim sum restaurant tucked in the corner of this Chinese strip mall. Parking is a nightmare here so try the local streets and see if youre luckier. Once youre in the lot itll take a while to get out. The food here is good and worth the value. The black sesame balls are especially good as are the standard dim sum fare.

We are regulars here and we are not Chinese but we could not have more welcoming service especially recommending stuff not on the menu - and bringing out dim sum just made. In particular Lin is just a great waitperson. Good prices - $20 to $30 for a ton of food for two people with take home box too.

Great food, we had dim sum for breakfast on an early Sunday morning on our way home to Phoenix. But we were largely ignored by the waitresses and waiters. Hostile to visitors...if you are brave go for the food but beware if you are not Chinese the service will be terrible!

I dont know what they offers during the weeks, but I visited Saturday or Sunday 10:00 ~ 12:00 for dim sum. they offers very good dim sums during that time. Many of carts are moving around the table, and you need make stop at front of your table, and make select for eating.

Im only rating their dim sum, not the menu items. Price is reasonable, dim sum is fresh. Only thing is the lines are super long on weekends so prepare to wait. Parking sucks here, they can accommodate big groups.

Outside of restaurant looks run down and located at corner, not easy to see from the street. Restaurant inside is ok, still feels out of date. Quality and taste of food are decent.

Dim sum is so tasty there! And $1.88 for all A, B, and C dishes are unbeatable! Most of all, waiters during their lunch hours are friendly; thats rare for chinese restaurant.
