Well, my husband insisted on trying it. We went Friday with reservations at 7 pm. ONLY positive was that my husband got there first and was sat right away couple minutes before our 7 pm reservation. I got there about 7:01 and went up to the desk and the snooty hostess looked up my name and said well I dont see a reservation for you so theres no reservation made or one of your party has been sat already. My husband called me and told me where to find him. There were four in our party, one of them being an almost five year old child. The booth was so incredibly small that none of us could get comfortable. My daughter who sat across from me, not the small child, continued to play footsie with me all night because of how small the booth was. There was no room for me to put my purse or my coat next to me on the booth. Appetizer was somewhat okay and then we ordered our main course. I ordered a $29 ribeye and ordered it medium well. Which is supposed to mean absolutely no red but a little pink in the middle. My daughter ordered a steak salad and also ordered it medium well. When we got our food, my jaw just about hit the table as I cannot believe what I saw on my daughters plate. There was a handful of lettuce, with nothing else on it, except for some dressing, and her steak next to it. It was a maybe 2 inch by 3 inch thick steak that looked burnt on the outside and not even sliced & put on top of her salad. It was just on her plate next to the very small handful of salad. Mind you, this dish was over $20. I guess youre pretty much left on your own to slice up the steak and put it on top of a few pieces of lettuce. We should have asked them for a cutting board. When the waitress came back I asked her if it should be sliced and she said no, thats how it comes. Ive never in my life been in any restaurant and have gotten a steak salad and not had the steak sliced and put on top of the salad. So my daughter slices the steak, and guess what? It was red, not medium well at all but more like medium rare just like my steak was. And my steak, the $29 ribeye, was at best half inch thick. So how can you mess that one up and not cook it correctly? When I sent it back to the waitress, she took it back and a few minutes later brought me back my steak, rather than them making me a new one, and it was still red inside. I couldnt eat it and had them take it back and take it off the tab. By the time we left it was almost 9 oclock. We were there nearly two hours and I left without dinner and a very miserable dining experience. Will never ever go back to that place. Granted they were busy, but its a humongous restaurant so they know how many people they could have at once I think they should hire the cook staff accordingly.

First off, the wait staff was exceptional! Our server, Jessica, deserves 5 stars - she was very polite, very attentive, was very knowledgeable about the menu items, the specials, etc. Also, we made reservations for 4pm, and when we arrived, it was nice that they had a table all ready for us! The 2 stars more so reflects the food. Although the presentation was nice, I think the execution could have been a little better, especially at the prices we were paying. First off, we placed 2 orders for steak and lobster. The lobster came out looking wonderful, but was slightly colder than room temperature. With that, rather than a container coming with it filled with melted, clarified butter, it was simply butter (not melted, still in solid form) in the little silver container. With the lobster being as cold as it was, we were simply pasting butter onto a cold lobster tail, which made it have a slimy texture. The steaks were not seasoned at all - no pepper, no salt, nothing. They were decent at best, and at those prices, we were hoping for that "WOW" factor...so when we bit into our steaks, it was very anticlimactic. Lastly, the sides were less than stellar as well. My sauted green beans looked like they had been sitting for a while, and were served at room temperature, as well as the potatoes I had ordered. My husbands side dishes were pretty much the same. In all, this is a place that we want to love and return to! However, it is something that we just cant see ourselves going back to, especially at those prices. Our plan however is to go back once more - maybe the chef and his/her staff had an "off" night? Who knows.

My boyfriend and I have been there several times. The service had always been very mediocre (They have too many young, inexperienced waiters and waitresses there.),is nothing to write home about. However the last time we were at Yosemite Ranch we were absolutely appalled by the service. It was about 9:30 p.m so it wasnt very busy. The waitress took about a good 15 minutes to get us our wine and water. She NEVER brought us bread until weve asked for it. She was outwardly RUDE to us but friendly to the surrounding tables. When my boyfriend asked for ground pepper for his salad, she rushed up to our table and hastily started grounding and when she left the table shook because she leaned in so far into the table. She didnt have a conversation, smile or laugh with us like she did with the other tables nor did she make us feel very comfortable. I regret not leaving because I didnt want to pay 70 bucks to be treated like a second class citizen. Her behavior lead us to believe that she did not like us. The feeling was mutual.

Not going to knock the food but the customer service needs help!! We called in a reservation and repeated 3 times that we needed a table for the 2 elderly disabled people in our party (7 of us total)...we arrived a little early and went up to the podium to check in...again, I stressed table...she tapped the screen and said yes, we have you down for a table. Shortly after our "pager" went off to be seated. and all be damn they took us to a booth!!!!...we told the girl we requested a table and her reply was...oh, this is all we have...My sister and brother-in-law showed but left because he couldnt sit in the booth (he had total bilateral knee replacement a year ago and the winter makes his joint stiff.....I really wish we would of left with them...this was total BS...ruined our evening and I will never go back....Too many naïve kids working that dont understand when someone requests a table they must have a reason!!!....Shame on you guys for ruining our pre Christmas dinner!!!!!

The atmosphere in this straightforward, few-frills steakhouse is a little distracting. A collection of Sing-along pop songs is played just barely too loud. Carly Rae Jepsen was a poor companion to my prime rib. The steak nachos were wonderful tasting, and everything being fresh. I ordered a rare prime rib that was perfectly prepared. The sides (fries and green beans) were solid. My wifes ribeye was exactly medium rare, and was delicious. Her baked potato wasnt cooked all the way. The decor is a weird blend of castle and cabin, which made me feel like Frodo. Naturally, I asked if the beer came in pints. It does. The draught list is nearly bare for a beer connoisseur, but it has the "getcha drunk" standards. Lots of booth seating, though you can feel the movement of neighbouring booths in the cushion of yours, which is weird.
