The food was what ever the first time I ate here... my mother seemed to like it, but she is notorious for liking horrible restaurant. Its almost a given if she likes a restaurant its guarantee to be HORRIBLE! So I called them to make a reservation, the guy on the phone has no ideal what a reservation is. I have to admit my Canto is not the best, but you have got to be kidding me... Reservation was the only work I did not know how to translate. The guy on the phone tells me to call back later and hangs me up... Perhaps its so he will not pick up the phone again. How... can you live in the SVG and work in a Chinese restaurant and not bother to learn some freaking English??? Anyways... if my mom did not request this restaurant specifically I would not have cared to write this review... The food is not that great, mediocre.. go to Tasty Garden or something if you want good family style food.

Service is mediocre at best. Food is below average for the 626. Came here for dim sum, not many selections for a Sunday. The foods they do have are okay or mushy or too salty. The waiter came to grab a stack of the dim sum trays, I just asked to make sure the bottom one was empty (which other dim sum places, they do automatically), but the guy stared at me with some attitude and opened up the bottom to show me, in a very condescending way. Asked for 6 cups of water, brought 3 and never came back. They dont even have the mixed beef offals or pork blood...tsk tsk No radish or taro flour cake... Not worth the time or money here

This place has been around for a long time, ever since my high school or even middle school days. Used to come here for Dim Sum a lot. Its not that great. Typical Dim Sum place in the 626 area. It gets packed as always. I dont even know why. I guess Asian parents and Grannys love this place. It converts to a family style restaurant in the evenings like all other Chinese restaurants in the area. Located in the same plaza as Big 5.

The food is pretty good here. But the service is absolutely horrible. We waited a long time outside to be seated, which isnt bad because theyre really busy and I dont mind waiting when theres just a lot of business (because thats not something they can control) but when we were finally seated, they just didnt service us that well. The food isnt bad so come for good food not service.

Okay so I cant speak Chinese. So This place gives my family the worst service. They over charge us, give our dim sum to someone else and then they ran out! I asked for it first! WTF!!! There are a lot of dim sum restaurants in sg. My family will never go back to top Island. They should call it RUDE ISLAND! !!

They brought me more dishes then I ordered and refused to take back the plates I didnt order, it cost me $100 for a dinner for two, they sold me four plates of food when any one of them was enough food for two people, I was over charged by four times. Funny to say the food was good.

Last time I came here I got terrible food and service!! The food was undercooked, the waitress was just downright mean.. and it took over 20 minutes after finishing the meal to get the waitress attention so I can pay and leave this place. I do not recommend.

Really great food for the price and portion, the place is clean, waiters are well dressed, I ordered deep fried telapia, my wife ordered fish soup, the fish was fresh from the tank, we recommended the place to our friends, well definitely go again

This is my choice place to get dim sum. its affordable and tasty. Like many Chinese dim sum places its gets pretty loud and it can sometimes be hard to get the cart with the food you like to stop by.

Their Honey Walnut shrimp is the best in the San Gabriel valley. Their shrimp are Large and the glaze is sweet and moist. The staff here is always friendly and attentive. I feel like a King here.
