Dont come here on a very slow day. The Asian lady hates it when its slow so she charges extra for everything!!! She feels she needs to make up for the money that she lost.. So I asked for the eggs Benedict and asked her if she can add tomatoes she said yes but that would be extra.. The eggs Benedict come with French fries but I asked if I can have hash browns instead she charge 1$ extra..i had eggs Benedict here before plenty of times and had hash browns and not get charge extra for it. I think Im going to find a new breakfast joint for my weekends.. This lady is kind of rude and pushy too..

This no-fuss, hole in the wall joint is a great breakfast joint. All your morning staples are on the menu- chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast burritos, and eggs benedict. The service is fast and attentive (often times wavering between happy/welcoming and stressed/annoyed) be aware it is cash only! If you are looking for a classier (and more expensive) spot, you can walk down the street to Ricks...

Village Pantry is a nice little spot in town where it seems there are many regulars whove been going for years. The staff warmly welcomed several people by name when they walked in, even knowing what the persons regular dish was. My wife and I shared two dishes, including the breakfast quesadilla (which was excellent) and the French toast (which wasnt good and lacked any real flavor or texture).

Theres not much to like. The place is worn down to the bone, walls plastered with years accumulation of random photos and tasteless cutesy knicknacks. Food was edible but not great. One ordered item was charged for but not delivered. 2016 in Silicon Valley, and no credit cards. To be fair, they seemed short handed. Not worth a second visit.

Homey atmosphere, strong coffee. Sit at the bar for a friendly experience. The spicy chorizo scramble was delectable, but the best thing here is the hashbrowns. They are phenomenally well done - crisp, salty and perfect (sounds easy but isnt). Lots of photos on the wall from days gone by. Make sure to bring cash - they dont take CC.

When I ordered my eggs at this place I asked him for over medium and what I got was over hard you cant cook eggs correctly my wife had some eggs here and she ordered them scrambled hard with no rain its in him and she got run exe dont know how to cook there and I dont recommend this place

This place is awesome, probably my favorite breakfast spot in the area! Their weekend specials are fantastic and it isnt too crowded. However, above all else, what really stands out is their customer service. All the workers are fantastically friendly and service is very prompt.

A family run gem of a breakfast place. Extremely friendly service and the usual american breakfast classics - pancakes, waffles, scrambles, omlets, etc. Enjoy the interior patio during the warmer time of the year. Dont forget your cash, they dont accept plastic.

This area really sucks for quality food that is not overpriced. This is a gem, a literal diamond in the rough of poor quality restaurants in Los Altos. It has a laid back diner atmosphere with reasonably priced plates.

Village Pantry serves lovely breakfasts in a coffee shop setting. Julie, your hostess, remembers your preferences and knows the names of many regulars. My favorite is the hash browns, which may be the best I ever ate.

Ive been going there every Sunday since I was 5, still always order the same thing: Breakfast Quissadilla. Very family friendly reastaurant, amazing service. Make sure you bring cash, no credit cards taken.
