The atmosphere of this Verve location is my favorite thing about it. The interior is almost completely white and full of natural light, as well as beautifully decorated. The coffee ordering process is simple and logical, the servers clearly know a lot about coffee, theres plenty of space to sit inside and outside. One of the best things about this place is that I often find myself sitting near friendly people and striking up conversations. I bring my laptop here often to get work done and its the kind of place that makes me feel energetic and want to get work done.

So happy to have a Verve open up on the west side! My girlfriend and I stopped in to grab some coffee and check out the new location. Like all Verves, this one has a personality all its own. Very clean aesthetic with a contemporary vibe. The baristas are super friendly too! I ordered just your basic coffee and my girlfriend decided to give the mocha a try. Tasty! If youre in the area, check it out, and stay awhile.

The best coffee and mocha I have ever had anywhere. This is a million times better than any of your big chain coffee stores. Mocha was beautiful. Full of coffee and chocolate flavor but not bitter, not overloaded with sugar or cream, simply a divine experience. Completely worth the modest price ( same as any other store). Those places has the best coffee youll find in Santa Cruz.

I was surprised and impressed that my cup of pour over over coffee came with a glass refill carafe. Made paying $6 for a cup of coffee a bit less painful. The Kenya roast was pretty good, too. Worth noting is that if you plan on working here make sure your laptop is charged. There arent really any accessible outlets.

One bad Barista in the mix. She pulled the shots and left to tend the drip machines, cleaned up the counters counters, helped the cashier with a problem customer, restocked the milk - then finished my drink 5+ min later. Not pro.
