My husband and I wanted to get a hamburger at our favorite burger joint, FATBURGER on Cherry in Long Beach. When we pulled up to go to the drive thru, it was closed. Strange! So we go inside to place our order. We ordered our burgers, fat fries and onion rings. We wanted lemonade, but the young man taking our order said they were out. We then asked for bottled water, he said they did not have any. We settled on no drink. We decided to get our order to go. As we waited, I went to the ladies restroom. The door did not lock (it was broken), the restroom was not clean, one of the toilet bowls was plugged, the water was cold and the paper dispenser to dry your hands was broken. Oh well! Also when I left the restroom, I noticed the mens restroom was OUT OF ORDER. I went back to our table where we were sitting. We both noticed that the floor was not clean, the table had little bits of food on it and the restaurant was darkened and not well lit. We have gone to this locaetion many times . It was always clean, the service was always great and the food delicious and the drive thru was always open. We took our order home because we were very disappointed with the condition of this establishment. We were disappointed further with the quality of the meal. The quality of the onion rings was poor (no batter), the hambergers did not have that wow factor and the fat fries were soggy. We have been going to FATBURGER for over 30 years visiting several locations from the Original Fatburger in Los Angeles, to San Diego, to Compton, to Carson, to Barstow. And all of them have lived up to the Fatburger reputation except this one. We understand this location has a new owner. In summary, the new owner needs to go back to the ways of the old owner, open up the drive thru, repair the property, keep it clean and hire more staff. If it stays like this, we WILL NOT BE BACK! Only gave it one star because I could not give it zero!

I absolutely love coming here. Sure I agree that theyre food can be a bit pricey. But I prefer a deliciously personalized burger, fat fries, and shake over a greased up, cheap-ingredient, quick-sloppy burger from TAMS anyday. And for the record, I think its best when you go inside to eat, I think they feel less rushed and do a better job. P.S. To go around the price issue, the Food4Less next door offers coupons on their receipts. My hat goes off to this FatBurger and theyre crew.

I came here 06/28/16 had a very long time that i havent been here last time i was here was great food yummy as expected didnt wait long this time was just ridiculous i waited for more then 15 minutes DRIVE THRU WITH NOO LINE i was the only car not to mention when i pay i didnt receive my change back it wasnt much but they dont deserve a penny for a tip HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Horrible horrible ..... wait time is ridiculous I would understand if their was a line of people but their wasnt . It took nearly 1 hour to get my food through the drive thru and yet my food was cold . Milkshake was ordered and they stated they didnt have whip cream. Pricing is really high and for the service provided not worth it at all

Got here at 10 since they supposedly open at 10. i asked the girl if they will open anytime soon. She said oh we got a here later we are opening up at 11 because we need to prepare everything before we open. taking my business else where. no professionalism.

Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. You could tell the lettuce came from a bag, it had that awful cellophane smell and taste. The chicken was very thin, flat, and processed. Not really good but what can I say fast food isnt meant to be high quality.

Im sorry to rank this business dinkies, but it was the most disgusting turkey burger Ive put in my mouth. Not to mention, the onion rings were greasy and prices are overrated for the bland food. Dont waste ur time, unless youre starving and lost.

They messed up our order left the kids meal off and forgot our fries this fat burger sucks and the manager didnt refund the money on my wives card...if zero stars was an option Id select zero stars. The food wasnt as good as their other locations

Dont trust the empty drive thru for fast service 7.90$ to sit 15 mins of lunch waiting. I requested that the just refund my money and instead the emoyee said he would need to talk to the manager and made me wait longer and came back with a burger

Usually I love Fatburger! When I stop by at 10:30pm to grab a burger and they are closed, Im not happy. Especially when the window says "new summer hours" and says theyre open until 12am or later. Not cool.

I love this place and having fresh ground beef is off the chain. The Burgers and Fries are real good and the shakes are even better. The prices have climbed a little bit but you get what you pay for.

Burger is good but fries are tasteless. The wait for the food to be made is incredibly long, I went and there were only 2 people in there yet my order still took more than 25 mins to be made!

How hard is it to cook a turkey burger WELL DONE? 3 attempts, 3 fails. Had I not requested well done it probably would have been raw. Ridiculous! Which way is Tams??

Its okay. A bit over-priced, and there isnt really anything special about the food. if you are looking for an "average lunch place" id say this fits the bill.

Ive given this place atleast 3 chances and every time I am horribly disappointed. The food is overpriced and tastes extremely bland. Go to tams instead!!
