This is one of the best kept secrets in La Quinta! Soul of China offers gourmet Chinese eat in or carry out. The food is of the highest quality and the team is dedicated to bringing the best of the orient right here to us in the desert! The menu is extensive and the flavors make you keep coming back for more. The staff is always friendly, whether eating in or stopping by for take home. I am always impressed with the meticulous way that they package their take out, taping down drinks to go, putting the fabulous Green Tea ice cream "on ice" so it doesnt melt and placing the condiments and crispy noodles in a plastic baggie for you! I love this place and encourage residents and visitors to support our Soul of China, one of many local small businesses here in La Quinta, CA!

My husband and I have been there twice so far but plan on going there ofter. The food is great! And theyll prepare it the way you prefer. The service was excellent too. Its a small hole in the wall but preety and clean inside. Tables with tablecloths make the small place look very nice. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for all the above but mostly for the fantastic array of wonderful recipes

I love the food. I feel good after a meal and not sluggish, in another word, healthy. I have brought many friends here and one friend from Orange County insist I bring him here all of the time. Its a small family run business and i like to support people like that. Pricing is reasonable and I have always had great service. I have always felt like I was with people who cared for their customers.

The food was terrible, beef smell bad! I got sick after that. We waited 15 mins to be seated, finally someone came out from kitchen. that was a sign! the price was ok. I was very surprised all the people give the place such good review, wonder why there are all good review but no bad ones?

Great service and excellent food. Ive been going here for years, one of the only places in town where a vegan or vegetarian can get well made food at a fair price. Love the staff and I can speak forever about the wonderful atmosphere and service.

This is my favorite place to get Chinese food, the staff is great. The Miss that is always there is the friendliest waitress Ive met, and she always remembers me and my girlfriend. Ill be coming back for years!
