My husband and I went here to meet up with friends visiting from out of town. We ordered a few rounds of beers and appetizers. (Decent beer selection but the food is just OK). The service was VERY slow, we had to wave down a server anytime we needed anything, they never came over to check in on us. My husband and I had to leave after about 1.5 hours, and we left my friend and his family at the table. We bought our beer and our friends beers, and our appetizers. After tip, it was over $100 tab. We signed the check and left. My friend stayed and other people he knew ended up joining him AFTER we left. I check my credit card online a few days later and see TWO charges from Shore Rider. The one for over $100 that we signed for and another $60 charge. I called Shore Rider and spoke to Joe, the manager. He said the "other people" in our party didnt pay the remaining balance so because we had the card, they charged us. He told us it was our problem to take it up with our friend. So I reached out to my friend and he said, yes there was a remaining balance but they paid it in full. My husband and I closed our tab and signed the bill. How was it even possible they charged our card again after we left? Charging patrons after they have left the establishment is unethical if not illegal. We did not sign a tab for the second charge. For a "manager" of a restaurant to tell us it is our problem to sort out is not okay. I have disputed the transaction with my credit card company since Joe was clearly not going to help us. I cannot believe that is how Shore Rider treats customers. That was our first and LAST time at Shore Rider.

Pretty dope spot to hit after a day at the beach, or some time spent oceanizing. Food is good and the drinks are refreshing. They dont have a hard liquor license but sell a decent selection of beer, wine, and some cocktails. I thought their frozen margarita was pretty good. I had the One Pound Burrito. It came with a couple chips and a tiny scoop of guac. The burrito itself was hefty, but it made me realize that the burritos Ive been eating in San Diego up til now must be two pounds each. SO had the Baja Chicken & Cheese Melt. We thought this was better than the burrito. Great use of spicy mayo.

Came in at happy hour $5 wines and 3-4$ tacos. We ordered the tuna crusted sandwhich on brioche bun and split it w a salad. The waitress was attentive and thoughtful and split our food for us. It was very tasty. I had avocafo instead of the guacamole however. It was light and gave us energy to go swimming. We were in and out within 40 min. Would have been sooner if we decided what we wanted quicker. They also have board games if you want to spend sometime there. Unisex bathrooms as well. I recomend and would return.

This place has excellent food and is the spot for beer lovers! When I visited Shore Rider Bar it had been open only for a few weeks, but everything went smoothly and the customer service was great! The owner introduced himself, was very friendly and made sure everything was perfect. The bartender also recommended a custom beer that mixes two of the beers on their menu. It was one of the best beers I had the entire on week on vacation. I definitely look forward to coming back!

My Family ate here last week . Everyone loved what they ate. I had the 1 LB Burrito and my wife had the Ahi Sandwich. The kids had Queadillas and Burgers. The Burrito is huge and quite tasty. Very friendly Wait Staff. TVS to watch Sports and a great beer selection . Outdoor laid back atmosphere. We will be back on our next trip to San Diego . Thank you

Server was awesome and volunteered what she thought was the best there. The food was some of the best weve had on vacation. The tacos are bomb, especially the carnitas. (And we just were at Cafe coyote last night, which was less than impressive.) Everything was reasonable priced too

Great beer, delicious food selection. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about our allergies and were able to get a gluten free and vegan option without a problem. We also got some sweet pint glasses too! Score all around after an afternoon kayaking!

Good beer selection, served in standard 16oz shaker Pints (not 14oz cheater Pints) from old style rear-seated chrome-plated brass faucets. fresh chips & salsa, but not much to eat for those on a vegan diet. Chips, Guac-- hold the cheese, & Pico de gallo.

This is an awesome little beach town bar. The food is actually great and the bartenders are extremely friendly. Feels like a family atmosphere amongst the people who go here. Drink selection is kinda limited but the ones they do have are very good.

A serious beach bar that gets it right! Excellent changing beer selection, a happy hour that cant be beat. And super fast WiFi. And happy, smiling, helpful staff! Try it. The best surfer out there is the one having the most fun.

Food was fantastic!! Nice menu. Large Group of girls from 14-16yrs old. Definitely a must stop. Cool atmosphere right of the beach.
