DONT EAT HERE! My two sons and I got food poisoning on January 11, 2015 (Huntington Beach Location) from their BBQ beef ribs! If we got sick off of something that was cooked, can you imagine their raw foods?! Our food born illnesses lasted for 2 days. I was communicating with Jhune the manager for almost two weeks only to find out that since I was not hospitalized, I couldnt get a refund on my dinner or compensated in any way! I was asked if I missed work, but apparently since I am an at home mom and my kids go to school, our time was not valued. The general manager, Leigh offered us a $50 gift card as our compensation. WTF?! You want me to go back???! I told them to keep their damn card and I called the Corporate office. They too were horrible. Fay from Corporate gave me a refund and said that my refund was more than what I paid for; referring to the ribs. Can you believe that? Refunding the entire dinner was a frickin stretch for them!! Im so over them. NEVER EVER am I going there again!

You could say Im pretty big on sushi and love to try new things and specials. Ive only really ever come to this Kabuki for happy hour so I havent ever really tried too many things out of the ordinary. During happy hour some of their rolls are on special (maybe a little less than half price) and their alcohol is half price as well. They have the basic selection of rolls and a several specialty rolls (but nothing I havent seen anywhere else). Their hot food is actually pretty good too and they have some available for happy hour. This place is in line with other sushi places during their regular non happy hour so I only gave it 4 stars but their happy hour menu and pricing is great!

The atmosphere is decent. I say this because it does not have the same ambience or décor of other locations such as the one in Irvine. The food has been great as long as I have been coming to this location. The key problem they have is their inexperienced and inattentive staff. I constantly tell the staff to bring out the food together, yet they seem to think its okay to serve me my food while my husband has to sit with nothing in front of him. Its simple requests like this that make the difference between a good time and a mediocre time.

Seriously worst server ever. The room was about halway filled and we didnt even get water for almost 10 minutes. Then kept loosing track of our orders while our fish sat on top of the bar. Fish was decently fresh, but for Huntington Beach that is lacking. Most rolls were California rolls with various toppings. This is a small chain that used to be solid. I write a lot of positive reviews and rarely take the time to post negative comments, but this place should be avoided.

So I was part of a big party and the table next us was filled with stupid teenage boys so I wasnt going to make things harder on our server by making a fuss but the Chashu Ramen was by far the worst ramen Ive had. No flavor at all, noodles sucked, pork was ok but for a 10 dollar bowl of noodles Id hope for better than Top Ramen and it honestly wasnt. I get the big draw is sushi but if you cant get a dish right, dont offer it.

Love this place! They have a great happy hour and a very extensive menu! Im obsessed with the shishito peppers and the yellowtail carpaccio! Kabuki has the best spicy tuna, better than any other sushi restaurant Ive been to. I recommend coming in with some friends so you can all order a variety of items and share them. It is definitely the best way to go!

My wife and I sat at the bar for some discount happy hour sushi. Sushi chefs were pretty prompt despite being absolutely slammed with orders. The sushi was very good. Just know that youre going to wait for the drink refills and the check. The wait service is slow. The wife and I loved it otherwise.

Fresh and delicious! After driving many hours on the road we looked up local sushi restaurants to where we were going. This turned out to be a wonderful find. Service was great and the food fresh and delicious! We will defiantly be back since we have family who live in the area.

Good happy hour. Have been here about 3-4 times. The best is to sit at the sushi bar and order form the chef. But now a days its hard with kids so their table serves is not bad either. Not the same as sushi bar. Happy hour is good to try their fish for a decent price.

Cant believe I waited so long to dine here. Wow! Everything was so tasty as and plentiful. The food comes fast and fresh. Careful not order to much. Your appetizers will be stacked up against your dinner if you dont watch it. Great service for my visit. Going back soon.

Whatever kind of Japanese youre craving, this restaurant has the fixing to make it for you. With the variety of rolls and sushi, I am sure that you would find something. Their kitchen food is just as tasty and different with dishes like the Spicy Seafood Udon Pasta.

Great atmosphere. The sushi was great and the regular menu was also on point. I recommend the Teriyaki Chicken and Salmon combo plate. It was superb. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I recommend this place to all who enjoy Japanese cuisine.

We have been coming to this Kabukis for a few years now, I just love the seafood saled. Baked green mussels our favorite, but they recently changed, we like it the it used to be. But always have a great time here with family.

Great variety of different options. Had yellowtail sashimi which was very fresh, and the boyfriend ordered the spicy seafood udon pasta, it was awesome, the scallops were huge! Everything we had was delicious, well be back.

New find and one of my favorite places in CA. Stumbled across it on a lunch break and couldnt be happier. Im a noodle nut so I get the Udon with beef, no vegetables and double noodles. To die for. New regular spot for sure.

Went to Bella Terra to catch a movie and decided to have dinner at Kabuki. The food from the kitchen was great, seeing that I am not big on raw foods. The Spicy Udon Pasta was probably the best thing I had there.
