We have liked this restaurant for years, but our last two visits have been very disappointing. The food has taken a big slide downhill, its as if theyve just got someone in the kitchen nuking frozen food. The service is still good, and they try to make things up (hence the two stars), but the food is awful. I dont know if theyre between cooks, or cutting corners, but with all the other choices in Grass Valley we wont be risking another dinner here.

I dont like that they mix their eggs for omelets or scrambled with pancake batter. I do a no carb diet. So for breakfast i order the sampler with overeasy eggs no potatoes no bread or pancakes. Service is always fast and waitstaff is always great. Paying $3.19 for ice tea is a bit much. But its quick and friendly service.

Pretty good if you get a wet dessert, though way too heavy. Chicken and waffles is a joke, two very dry chicken tenders on top of bog standard waffles. Stick with crepes or subverting with fruit.
