Expensive, but tasty! No lie, the food is delicious, its great they have a bunch of options to put on the burger, like grilled mushrooms (mmm). Ok, I get a double cheeseburger with bacon (I guess the double patties is a "normal" burger, while only one patty is "Little"), large cajun fry, and large soda. Fine, a lot of food, $8 sounds pretty fair-ish, right? Turns out its a blasted $13! The burger does have a nice flavor and texture, the cajun fries are delish, and the sodas just the same Coca-Cola you get anywhere. While awesome that I got to have mushrooms (or my choice of a bunch of other free toppings), that alone doesnt warrant the high price. I could probably get the same thing, same price, at Islands or Red Robin, but I expect that price at those kind of places, this is supposed to be fast food. Another difference? At Islands and Red Robin, the fries are bottomless, unlike Five Guys (and no, the free peanuts dont cut it). Good burger? Yeah, pretty good, but if I want quality fast burgers, Ill stick with In-N-Out. If Im willing to shell out $13 for a good burger, fries and soda, Ill go to a sit down place, and get all the fries I desire.

Perhaps if five guys wasnt top heavy with employees they could reduce the price of their food. Its a bad economy and value is important, but not according to five guys. Its a fried burger nothing special. And in all honesty Im tired of ordering and then explaining that if I said hamburger I expect that. If I wanted a cheeseburger I would have said cheese .Its over selling to the consumer. If Im the customer I would like to be given the respect of what I want, I make decisions everyday...I have not seen big crowds at five guys and with their prices dont imagine they will be around to long.

very tasty delicious burgers fills u up . try them once. U might get hooked. Free peanuts .. only one thing to expen$ive for fast food & fries are OK. Every thing a la carte . Drink, fries , etc. since they dont have combos yet. Ur tab just double$ not a place to take a family of 5 or more . If u want to pay that much ur better off going to red robin for atmosphere. Or save money get a good burger combo animal style at in & out. But I m glad I tried it. Alot of hype i will eat here again someday. May be on a payday

Burgers tasted home, good and fresh. What I really enjoyed here was the free unlimited shelled peanuts that were available. Although I felt it didnt match with the burgers, I enjoyed them just the same. Some of the friends I was having lunch with felt, they were a little bit pricey. However they had lots of different toppings at no additional charge, this could be the reason for the slightly higher price, along with the free unlimited peanuts.

Normally excellent food and service. However, Sunday 1/29/17 at 1 pm what we ordered was not even close to what we got. We sat outside for over 20 minutes. Went inside to check on our order and they said, "Well, its been sitting here!". The meat was crispy critter. The toppings were not what I asked for. The fries had cooled off. The attitude of the employees was terrible. I have always had a good meal here until now.

There is no other way Id rather spend $11. You get a big American-style burger with loads of fries, youll be full for HOURS. I pride myself on being a fairly well versed connoisseur of french fries and the fries they make here are absolutely exquisite. Not only that, but they give you so many that you can hardly finish a whole meal unless you go half the day without eating. Youll thoroughly enjoy eating here!

The food is good, the burgers are big, and filling but its really expensive. for a regular fry and a cheese burger, i spent around 9 to 10 dollars. they have a surprising amount toppings that can be added to the burger. food is good but expensive for a fast food burger joint. this is not a gourmet place.

Omg the most expensive burger and fries in history! Food was VERY like In n Out but at tripple the price. Burgers ok but nothing special and definately way overpriced. Dining area not very clean so dont slip and fall.

burger was ok i think the fishing boats in OC make a burger just as good if not better, there was a bone in my burger...and the fries way over cooked...unless thats their style..talk about hype

Way better than In & out. Here I can taste the meat not like In & out paper thin meat nothing but bread lettuce and thousand island spread. Lots of different toppings to add at 5 guys

The burger itself was okay. It tasted really fattening but it was nice to be able to pick your own toppings. Definitely not worth the $15 for burger, fries and drink.

Expensive for fast food, but probably the best quality burger around. The meat is choice with an endless list of condiments to add. The Cajun fries are awesome!
