We called well in advance that 24 people would be coming. We arrived at their opening time on Wednesday, September 2nd. 11:30 AM. At 1:00 PM, we still had not been served. Our server, Jeremy, did the best he could, working alone, When our food arrived, it was almost cold. Barely warm spaghetti and sauce with italian sausage that was almost cold was most disappointing after the long wait! The bread was served warm, and it was delicious, but did little to make up for the terrible kitchen service. I must repeat that this was not the fault of our wonderful server, who was running his legs off to take care of us all. It was so late when we finished that our ice cream had to be taken on the bus and eaten with a plastic spoon because of the doctor appointments that would be missed had we stayed longer. It was a decision reached by the majority that we not return to this place that had formally been one of our favorites. The manager should be ashamed of his kitchen crew, and of the quality of the food that we were served.

Went here with my boyfriends family due to my BFs childhood nostalgia of the Old Spaghetti Factory. All pasta classics are served with 100% durum semolina spaghetti and served with their famous 3-course meal. Their famous 3-course meals are served with hot fresh baked bread, soup or salad, and their signature spumoni ice cream. I ordered the Managers Favorite, and I got Mizithra cheese and mushroom sauce. For my appetizer, I got the clam chowder. The combo of the Mizithra cheese and mushroom sauce was good, especially the sauteed seasoned mushrooms. I wasnt a big fan of the spumoni ice cream. Spumoni is Italian ice cream made with layers of different flavors. Its usually cherry, pistachio, and chocolate, which is what the Old Spaghetti Factory serves. Reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream. I didnt like the cherry flavor though. If youre in groups of 4 or less, you can sit in the train dining car. And its right next to the Fullerton train station, so you can see and hear the trains come by. Great spot for railfans!

Maybe we were the exception, but nothing went right. This place is just a cut above a banquet hall. No, I take that back. It is nothing more than a huge banquet hall. It is too cheap and that is the problem. Cheap food draws huge crowds and they cannot handle it. Everything we asked for took forever. Server was not very skilled. Nice and polite, but lacking in training. Food and service aside, the whole place, especially the bar where we waited, had a funky smell to it. Bars will often wreak of stale beer spilled on the floor, but that was not it. We thought of waiting somewhere else and quickly realized the whole place smells like this. Clearly this place is a huge hit with is $10 complete meals. What recession? One one or two negative reviews? BFD. In fact, I do not see anywhere on their website or sales receipt of anywhere to leave feedback or fill out any surveys. I truly do not beleive they care. Lesson learned: you get what you pay for.

The service was good, which is really saying something because they were SO busy. This place is always packed. I dont know about these other reviewers, but to me, if a place is ALWAYS packed like this one is, that says something about the place. These people also probably havent tried the Mizithra cheese dish. Its simple, but so good. They have a Managers special where you can pick 2 or 3 different styles of spaghetti to try. Theyve also recently added a variation on the mizithra dish to the menu, its got garlic and mushrooms. I discovered Spaghetti Factory probably 10 years ago and have been going back ever since. I love their food, I love the atmosphere, its just a great establishment and I hope theyre around forever.

The Old Spaghetti Factory has always been a staple in my family. This was my first time at the Fullerton location. We just happened to drive by while actually looking for another place to eat. The restaurant was closing early for Halloween night, but we walked in an hour beforehand and they seated us in less than 10 minutes. Service was on point, and I had all the strawberry lemonade and bread I wanted. Normally I order the meat sauce spaghetti, but his time I tried the Premiere, a combo of lasagna and chicken Marsala. I found them both to be delicious. My wifes go-to potpourri trio was great as expected. Overall, this was the customary service and meal I expected from an Old Spaghetti Factory. Good job.

Did call ahead seating an hour prior, when we arrived we were told it would be an hour wait! Kind of defeats the purpose of calling ahead. We waited in the cramped "waiting area (aka a hall where everyone keeps squeezing by and bumping into you). Finally we were seated. The salad was awful, limp lettuce with a few tiny croûtons and average dressing. Like bag salad from the store when it starts to turn all wilted. The pasta was nothing special, I can make better at home. Server kept getting everyones drink wrong. No, not mixed drinks just basic sodas. Basically we lost many hours of our lives to this place between the drive, the wait, and "eh" food. Will not be going back.

Ive been coming here since they opened and the food quality has been good to hear, most of the time. My favorite is the "Managers Special" where you can pick two types of spaghetti sauces in your order and I always order the white clam sauce and the mizithra in browned butter on whole wheat pasta. Very tasty! If you are taking Amtrak somewhere, stop by the bar and place your order to-go while having a drink. Be ready for some stares from the poor people sitting around you on the train as they smell what you are eating and have to eat their package Cafe Car food. Sorry Amtrak, no love on this review.

I just waited 40 minutes for a single entree to-go order from this property. In that time, I couldve physically gone back into their kitchen and cooked it all from SCRATCH myself. I just cant understand why this location cant get its act together. It just keeps getting worse. You could try Newport, but they cant get a to-go order correct to save their lives. This is a long way from the quality the company used to have when I worked at the headquarters 20 years ago. Really sad. Update: In 40 minutes, they couldnt manage to put garlic butter in the bag, so Im now eating dry bread, to top it all.

Absolutely miserable wait. We checked in and were told it would be a 35 minute wait. 1hour later we were TD we would be seated shortly. Word of advice to the management instruct your host/hostesses to be honest with the public about the wait. Had we been told it would be a 1 hour wait for a table we would have gone elsewhere. Horrid customer service. Doubt we will return The misery continued with inattentive service. But I suppose I shouldnt complain. The table next to us was seated 5 minuets after us and Boone came to take their drink order ( let alone their food order for over 30 minutes
