If you dont have a GPS probably you will never find this place, its inside a narrow alley winding down near a water front with shops selling sea food, fishing adventure trip and tools all lined up in one closed loop. Its kind of a run-down place but can easily figure out with the customer line coming out of the small ordering area. Its basically a small counter area with the kitchen in the back and the seating area is completely outside overlooking a small lake like water front. Their speciality is shrimp and chips n Fish n chips, unfortunately they dont offer a combo version of shrimp/fish n chips which is disappointing considering you are the only person in the group who is a sea food addict. So I ordered a shrimp and chips costs around 18 bucks and took just a minute to order at the counter but the unfortunate part is it took exactly 55 min to get to the table, was really a very long wait. With the outdoor seating the place gets cool in the evening so the wait gets even more agonizing but its all to an extent worth it when you get 6 really huge shrimp with equally crispy fries that your inner urge for biting into a fresh crispy shrimp gets satisfied. They do have some 6-7 beers on Tap served in Coors light branded glasses. Overall its not really worth the hype given the fact that its too pricey and takes such a long time to serve but if the place is not too crowded then I will probably give it one more try.

Horrible. Rip-off. Period. We ordered one fish sandwich, sans fries, one prawn and chips, one bottled water, and one bottled lemonade. The meal was delivered... and I thought they had the wrong table. The fish sandwich reminded me of a White Castle slider. I had 5 (25# sized) deep fried prawns, with about 1/3 of a potato fried into chips, served in this tiny little paper dish. Well, they got that backwards too, serving the chips with the sad sandwich. All of this for the low, low price of $27 and change. The prawns were overcooked, unseasoned, and the breading was bland and tasted sharply of baking soda. The fries were okay... I guess... but there were few of them to be sure. Nothing to rave about. The sandwich wasnt enough for a child, let alone an adult. For the better part of $30, I expect a meal that is edible and satisfying. No, I dont need a pound of shrimp. But... 5 shrimp? Sad.

Eh...way overpriced. Nothing to rave over. The girl who took our order was no help when our, at times difficult, 9 year old asked for a 7up after his 6 year old sister got the "last one". He had to settle for a diet coke. After a predicted dissatisfaction of the soft drink, I went back to the same girl who took our order. I asked her if the drinks in the cooler were the absolute only thing they had left, she smirkily said "umm, yep". Just then her co worker swooped down from heaven and said "I can check in the back if youd like" Of course I happily accepted, and yes, she had one for me! Then I came back and asked for mustard. The mistake I made was asking the first girl, lesson learned. :-/ So, a mixture of overpriced/low quality food, poor presentation, poor customer service, I would have given it 1 star. But because of the angel employed there, I gave it 2.

Sea Pal Cove is a small restaurant on the edge of the Noyo River overlooking the river and ocean. To get there take N Harbor drive off of highway one (just north of the Noyo bridge). Follow the road to the harbor and look for the Sea Pal sign. There is a very small inside dining area with counter type seating. Most seating is outside overlooking the fishing boats docked right outside. The fish and chips is excellent and utilizes the local rock cod (VERY FRESH). My favorite is the fish sandwich which is like fish and chips light - with a smaller quantity of fish inside a bun. If you are looking for a local hangout with lots of character - this is the place. You will be eating right alongside the crew and passangers of the local fishing boats. Bring a jacket.

Quick and delicious! If you are into super fresh fish & chips then this is your place. The chips are just normal fare, but the FISH!!!! DANG!!!! Do not miss the clam chowder, grandmas recipe! I HAVE to mention the tartar sauce which comes from a huge pump outside the building, it is so tart and amazing! The best tartar sauce Ive had! Not exaggerating!Dustin really dishes out the good stuff and does not waste a minute! The ball game is loud, the space is cozy, the staff is friendly and the food is perfect!!!! Oh, and a ton of great brew on tap... just in case you are thirsty! We were a group of four dressed for fine dining and no one made a deal out of it, not even the local blokes chowing down. Im highly recommending Sea Pal!

Horrible customer service. Horrible marginal food but extremely over priced. The place had a couple snarky younger kids sitting at the table talking about marijuana and dropping repetitive profanities as the employees eaves dropped or occasionally shot an abrasive joke across the diner. I was treated as a sub standard customer... I guess thats my fault, I was overdressed as my reservation at silvers didnt work out. It took 45 minutes to get 2 hamburgers, and my wife and I were the only ones ordering at the time. I saw other couples and groups who came 20 minutes after us get their meals first. The bill was retarded. Horrible experience. I shamefully left sea pal and will never return.

Im really surprised this place doesnt have more reviews. I was visiting Fort Bragg and asked my friend who lives there her best places to eat that I needed to check out. She mentioned this place, it was a little hard to find mainly because we were in the dark and its kind of a hole in the wall. BEST. and I mean BEST fish and chips I have ever had. Please check it out. Ill be going back in a few weeks and thats what Im looking forward to the most.

Ordered Fish and Chips and cup of chowder Waited half hour to order and another 45 minutes for my order. Paid over $21.00 Fish was soggy. Fries tasted microwaved and old. Chowder was runny/water. Saw them running watery over frozen fish and dumping large cans of chowder in pot. Tiny restaurant was so dirty. I will not be returning and will be warning others not to waste their hard earned money.

Visited this establishment for dinner, had the fish and chips that they are so well known for. The fish was outstanding - batter wasnt too thick, cooked perfectly. I enjoyed my fish with a little hot sauce. The fries werent anything special, tasted like fries that were previously frozen and just thrown into the fryer, would have liked it much better if they made their own fries in-house.

The previous Yelp reviews drew us in but we were sadly misguided. The clam chowder tasted like poorly spiced chicken noodle soup and only contained tiny pieces of rubbery clams accompanied with disproportional chunks of carrots. The soggy undercooked fried fish sat on top of a bed of limp microwaved fries. Ive never done a yelp review but this was so bad I needed to warn future diners.
