Great restaurant! Definitely will come again! My family and friends came on our vacation to Seaside. We have never been before and were very impressed with this restaurant. My father ordered the crab puffs appetizer and rated it 4 stars. He said it was because it had very little crab notes and mostly had a cream cheese flavor. It was very sweet so if you are not fond of sugary sweet foods then the crab puffs are not for you. There are several vegan options so this is perfect if you are a veggie like myself. I ordered the eggplant w/ fried tofu and it was absolutely delicious!! It was the best tofu I have ever had and I was very pleased with the eggplant. No bitter flavor like most eggplant dishes and perfectly prepared. There was a light sauce and a few veggies in it as well which were very fresh and added a nice crunch to the dish. My other family and friends got bento boxes. Top hits was the teriyaki chicken, sweet n sour chicken, potstickers, as well as the fried and steam rice. In all this meal was excellent and we will definitely be coming back on our next trip to the magnificent Seaside, OR.

Im not from seaside or anywhere in Oregon but my boyfriend and I were craving Chinese food and were willing to give this a try. Im really disappointed. Literally one of the worst Chinese restaurants Ive been too because of how the food taste, specifically the chicken teriyaki. The chicken had thick oddly shaped pieces some big and small...i asked for fried rice with egg and did not get any egg just 2 tiny pieces of carrots and they couldnt make any dish "spicy". Okay. I only gave one star for the taste of rice and the gyozas. (If I spelled that right). The workers are really nice! But the way they make this food was just so upsetting. First and last time I will go there. Worse than pig n pancakes.

I did my research before going out to eat as I was here last summer and wanted to try all new restaurants this year. This place has some pretty amazing reviews but I cant for the life of me figure out why. The food is TERRIBLE, filled with oil and zero flavor. The best part was the service, the employees truly are great. BUT $40 for 2 people is a bit much, and we ate enough to make it seem like we didnt hate it just so we didnt hurt the sweet servers feelings. Seriously though take your money somewhere else, your wallet and stomach will thank you! Sorry new garden but you really missed the mark.

This is the only place in Seaside where Im willing to eat out. For Seasides pricing, its not bad, and they have a lot of vegan options. The food is really tasty, and surprisingly didnt taste too salty or make me feel sick like a lot of Chinese places do. They provide excellent service — after seeing me removing ice cubes from my glass, they brought me a glass of water without ice. The portions are great too. You could probably split an entree between two people. They do to-go boxes, but they are Styrofoam, sadly. Thats about the only bad thing I can say about this place.

I had come here at about 8 looking for something new in town for a bit. I had oordered a B6, B5 bento boxs and a Teriyaki chicken entrée for me and a friend to share the portions are well sized. I had almost eaten everything it since it was so good. My friend is a slow eater and loved it here with the nice sauce selection they had. Service was quick and friendly they had checked on us on good times every time. Both the waiters were always checking around for customers and smiling. Service was great altogether a well deserved 5/5 stars for them.

Candy and her family cook authentic Chinese food. This is really good stuff. Im a local. Ive tried the other Chinese food places from Astoria to Seaside, and this is really good. Stay away from the place in Gearhart (dirty kitchen, smelly dining room, stinky restrooms etc). I go here 2 times a month. Ive never, EVER, had a problem with my bill and Ive never been charged for water. Im suspicious of that earlier review. I wonder who is behind it and what they have to gain?

Fantastic food. The dinner portions are huge. Tons of vegetarian options. Staff is super friendly, and there is literally a guy standing watch at all times for beverages, water, etc. Great for kids! The place was very clean, the service was quick, and the food reminded me of mainland China. Prices were great, especially the appetizers were way larger than we expected for the price. Would definitely eat here again.

I have no idea how this place got such a high rating, but my experience was very different. First of all, this is a mall restaurant inside a pretty cheesy touristy mall. Restaurant looks nothing like the photos. It is pretty run down. Not a bad place for simple Chinese lunch, but i was here for dinner after trusting yelp and there was only one other party in the entire place. Very average food.

*ATTENTION BIG FAMILIES* Dont share entries, the portions are small. Have everyone order their own meal. Fried rice is satly, stick to the steamed rice. Since were a family of 9 our waiter was giving us attitude because it took us a while to order, not only that but was rude about placing in another order since the portions were small.

Really fresh tasting ingredients and cooked with love. Best chinese food i have had in a while. So surprised that the best chinese food is at the beach!!! I had the "Mongolian beef with medium spice" So so good!!! The "Mandarin chicken with medium spice" was good also. I hope this place stays open til the next time i visit.. :)

This is the best food in Seaside!!!! 100%, hands down, the BEST! Their vegetarian menu is amazing and so, so tasty!! They are so kid friendly and they were the sweetest ever to my little girl! The prices were great and the portions were amazing. We left so full and so happy with our meal! I cannot recommend this place enough!

I go to a few san Fransisco Asain places with the Asian Inlaws, and this is completely comparable with any that they go to. Best Asian that we have found so far from long beach to seaside. We will be back soon. We had hot and sour soup, egg flower soup and mushroom beef. All tasted homemade and very good. Thank you.

Because I read one of the negative comment on the line I walk into this place with a negative vibe however, once the service help me and I had the chance to Actually taste the food he was incredibly delicious best Asian food I ever had so far. Great service and great food. Good job "New Garden Asian".

Hands down the best Chinese food around. I had the Vegetarian platter, the food was hot, the vegetables still colorful. Yam tempura was soooo good. They have a huge selection and variety of foods. The portions were generous and the price reasonable.
