They are into fast service and the chicken breast was of high quality but small. The large tomato slice had a hard white core left in the middle. It tasted good/ok but was difficult to eat and sloppily put together. The shakes were good (real icecream) The sandwiches for takeout were slapped together sloppy and were wrapped very sloppily and falling out into the bag. The bag was small to carry and I asked for a plastic bag as well when another server helped out, she came back to answer the question about the carrier too. When my name was called, I didnt get my 2 shakes. Although the receipt already showed it, the server came back to ask if whipped cream (no). Then I asked for a carry crate for the drinks and he didnt know how to make it work. So clearly the problem was just that this person was new and still learning in a very high paced environment. There was constant customers, and I see their commitment to speed but I would suggest more training and less flogging of the staff. In & Out is also clearly high stress and constant volume but they appear to have plenty of training before they are put under the gun. Very handy for before and after work stops on the way to and from the freeway but I probably will just go to JackInTheBox for their breakfast croissant in the morning but I may give it another try.

I was desperate for breakfast in El Segundo and Farmer Boys seemed like the only option around. I had pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and coffee. The pancakes were so dry that not even water poured on them couldve possibly saved them. The sausages tasted like axe body gel and, based on how greasy af they were, I wouldnt be all that surprised if that was what I was really eating. They had the most depressing looking scrambled eggs Ive ever seen. Not only that, but they quite obviously skimped me on the 3 eggs was promised and was lucky to get half a scrambled egg; the bastards. Lastly, the coffee, omfg the COFFEE. I mean, I dont really prefer wet horse manure in the morning tbh, but if theres nothing else around, Ill drink it with pleasure. This horse manure however, Id feel evil if I fed anyone that sh*t they call coffee. I wouldnt even feed it to my worst enemy. Even the cops that were sitting around us didnt want the coffee. Its most likely the WORST coffee in LA. Maybe their burgers are ok; Ive never tried them sadly, but for BREAKFAST, never go to Farmer Boys.

Usually order a chopped Cobb salad via telephone to go. 9/10 times after a weekend or a holiday you will get bad lettuce. Mine is usually reddish on the outside. My theory is the lettuce not used on the weekend is repourpused as salad lettuce but specifically for the phone orders. They figure you arent going to open up the salad box and check the lettuce underneath all the other ingredients. If you order the salad there to eat, they will give you all the pretty lettuce. If you order there to go 5/10 times youll get McNasty Lettuce. Burgers are ok but not worth the "were almost like in n out" tax

Food is amazing here decent price too and they can do custom on your orders so if you are like me and like and over medium egg on your burger presto they make it happen. oh yeah and they have a nice incentive if you download their app you get a 5 dollar credit u can use on your order either immediately or at a later date. additionally they offer military and teacher discounts so thats also a great plus .

Terrible. Called in an order and it took them over an hour to make a bbq chicken salad and a tuna melt. Rude and incompetent staff. They told us over the phone that it would be max 35 min. They were not even apologetic that I had to wait another 30 min when I arrived. Food was terrible and greasy. You couldnt even pay me to step foot in another Farmer Boy... What a terrible addition to El Segundo.

I never want to eat this restaurant again. I saw another family complain about an employee spitting mucus in this girls soup, and instead on acknowledging this fact the manager simply just denied the possibility and said that she would just offer to throw the soup out if they didnt want it. The manager was rude and I fear my own food was tampered with.

23 minutes for a salad and a sandwich? Plus they forgot about me even though I was standing at the front of the to go line while everyone who ordered after me got their food and left. Food was decent at best. My salad sat on the counter for 19 minutes while they scrambled to make the sandwich for my friend... no apology for the wait or anything.

stood there for 10 minutes waiting to place an order while only one person was on the cashier(Taking phone orders as well while 3 other employees just stood around. Needless to say I walked out after standing there for 14 minutes while only one person was in front of me and she still hadnt completed their order at that point

Many people talk about Farmer Boys, but in reality its over rated. I ordered a Denver omelette and it was over cooked. Omelettes are the simpiliest thing to cook and they couldnt get it right. The sour dough bread was hard and burnt. Its a shame that so many people think its good quality food. Never will I come back.

Love the burgers but the receipt machine wasnt working,there was no shakes available(which is the main reason i went) and no iced tea. The manager didnt bother acknowledging me till he felt like it. But one of the girls working there made sure to make us feel welcomed and was very attentive so props to her !

Strange strange occurences of order prices on the boards dont match numbers in the register ......this plus many other strange soup kitchen follies. Abort abort. Find other source of sustinance.

Farmer Boys as a chain is generally pretty tasty- a good fast option to get your breakfast or lunch served to you quickly without resorting to paper-wrapped burgers and fries. Farmer Boys greets you with a smile and bring gs food quickly on REAL dishes. Plenty of options and a kids menu, too!

I work across the street from this Farmer Boys and my order has been screwed up numerous times! Im to the point that I no longer go unless Im starving and its passed lunch hour. The quality of the food is ok but overpriced. I have been screwed of two offers so definitely never coming back.

I grew up in El Segundo and I am a Artist. They Stole my artwork from my blog and decorated there restaurant with it. Then they refused to give me an explanation or apology. Shame on Farmer Boys for trying to steal culture from the local community and pass it off like its there own.

My food was spit in. Actually dont know whether it was spit or snot and not sure what I did to piss the cook off. There was bad customer service even before I got my food spit in. Food is alright. It wont be hot when you get it barely cold. Would not recommend.
