I have been a customer here for several years, and by their own words one of their best customers. Last night I had the experience of my life with them. They aggressively tried to force me to take a fried dish I had ordered, but arrived in 10 seconds cold and thick with grease.(Your guess is as good as mine as to how they managed to have it ready so fast. I ordered this dish 10 minutes after my main order, because I wanted leftovers). After 5 minutes they realized they could not force me to take it. (Meanwhile the food I had ordered earlier showed up) I told them I wanted to eat the other food that was at my table, due to the lack of room, first then I would order more. This was not OK with them and the harassment continued. I asked again if I could eat then order, but it continued. I told them if they did not stop I would leave, it continued, I left.(They wanted me to replace the order I was returning, which I had intended on, but I guess they wanted to make sure). They followed me out the door stating they would call the police. I went home and ordered pizza. Soon an Officer showed up at my door. I was told I had to return to Fortune Garden and pay my bill, even though they admitted I did not eat. When I arrived they did not have my food for me, or an apology until I mentioned the lack of one, and they over charged me with an un-itemized bill that had nothing written on it except $48.96. (I looked up my order with their online menu and added tax and found they had over charged me $6.14. I guess they thought they deserved a tip) The Officer stayed behind, and talked to them. Hopefully to reprimand them.

This place is horrible we went online and then called and ordered and the total amount due was ten dollars more than what we thought. When we asked why they told us they didnt use the online prices anymore. Also when we showed them the price was different online then what they were charging us they told us there was nothing they could do about it. So we ended up having to leave the food there and get a full refund. The lady also freaked out on us for being a couple minutes late due to us not knowing how far we were away. And when we told the lady that she said it didbt matter when she said ten mintes we needed to be there at that time. We were only four minutes late. I would not recommend this place at all very rude staff.

I gave my daughter a $100 gift certificate because she was new to the area and her experience was AWFUL! Not only was the food not editable but they were rude when she asked to replace it. They would not give her a refund or refund the $80 balance. And they had the nerve to tell her to go sell the balance if she didnt like their food!! The manager (who sold me the certificate on the phone) would not even talk to her!! That is totally unacceptable and not only will she not be a repeat customer, she will actively drive business away!! Shame on them for telling her to sell it!!

This place rocked! Our 1st time there & certainly not our last! Landy was our waitress & she was amazing! she Recommend what we got & we were very satisfied! For how good the food was we almost fell out when we got the bill & saw how cheap it was! The Mongolian beef was the best my husband & I have ever had! A must for lovers of good food @ amazing prices!!!!!

My go-to chinese restaurant, the food and service are amazingly nice. I used to think that most neighborhood chinese restaurants were pretty much the same but Fortune Garden is a gem with great prices, BIG portions, and they are also really fast. Even if I didnt live in EDH, I think Id still have to make the trek when the craving for chinese food hits.

Fortune Garden is the best Chinese Restaurant we have ever tried. The service is great and fast for dine in or take out and they are very friendly and hospitable. Dont forget to ask for their special donuts at the end. You will not regret trying this....we have friends and family that drive from other cities because its just so good!!!!

We just ate here for the first time and my entire family liked it. We had a one year old with us and they were very cognizant of the need to keep plates, especially hot ones, out of reach. The portions, quality and flavors were all good. Lots of leftovers. We will definitely be back.

The employees at this restaurant have an attitude - harsh, never greet you, they always seem annoyed not to mention they charge a fortune for their food. Go to Rice Express in Folsom; very cheery people with nice smiles that you feel good about paying $50 for dinner for 3.

Yummy yummy yummy! New to the area and found this place by accident. Great quiet atmosphere, HUGE menu, quick service, and the food is authentic, delicious with very generous servings. Prices are reasonable. On the down side, the beer selection is slim. Still 5 stars!

A friend of mine recommended this place a couple of years ago and have never been disappointed! The rice is always fresh and the best entrée on the whole menu is thai basil beef. Regular is spicy but you can ask for no spice. Either way the dish is perfection!

Decent food but the server was very grumpy, like they dont have to be friendly because of their high level of reviews from most. And the lunch was reasonably priced until I found the traditional practice of including hot tea is $2 here.

We go here once a week and take friends. Fast, good and easy on the wallet. We always get, won-ton soup, green beans, vegetarian rice, sweet & sour chicken and a fish dish. The lunch special during the week is enough to share.

I am always very picky with my food especially my choices on Chinese food. Usually I go to pf Changs or fats for quality Chinese but I can easily say that fortune garden is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants

This is the best hole in the wall Chinese I have had in years!!! Ive tried a number of other Chinese places while this one was remodeling after the fire, and none are close. Best in the Folsom/EDH area.

There chef special is one of the greatest feasts I have ever indulged in. Come hungry or be prepared to take boxes home with you. Also dont miss out on the sugar biscuits at the end.

3 stars for service - not rude at all but not super friendly either. Huuuuuge portion sizes and good food. If youre craving Chinese food itll do the trick for sure.
