Great food, didnt have time to made dinner so I was recommended to come here. Great service. Ordered my take out and asked them for recommendations on 2 of our plates which were EXACTLY what we were looking for. They offered my son and I a seat, brought us waters, it as a hot evening! The food was amazing! The ONLY reason why I gave 4 stars was they forgot the rice. They give you a rice or nan with each main meal, only got the nan, but we still filled up, family was happy, well be back but I may insist on checking the order for take out next time ;-)

baking soda ... baking soda ... baking soda Every item has baking soda in it. It seems a common occurrence after eating at Indian restaurants is a painful, bloated full feeling after the meal. This seems to be a different kind of "full" than most other types of food, and seems to happen even when I eat far less than I would with other foods. Ive heard similar reports from nearly everyone I know who likes Indian food, and seen it happen many times to people I dine with. Not that they charge less for their mediocre quality food

As I am writing this review the bitter taste of sodium bicarbonate lingers on my tongue. I am a South Indian connoisseur and I know good food. Their south indian dosa pretty much sucked (made of white lentils and rice paste and tons of NaCO2). The masala that goes in had garlic in it which is no-no in South Indian style. The sauces were mediocore. The lentil sambaar was probably ok. If you care about your health and stomach please save your money for some other place.

Ruchi used to be my favorite indian restaurant in Folsom. When its good, its amazing, but the quality has been really hit or miss lately. I always order the same thing and I get wildly different versions of it each time. Sometimes the vindaloo is thick and brown, sometimes its more watery and light colored. Sometimes its spicy beyond belief and sometimes it has no spice. I prefer consistency vs the rollercoaster of taste I get here :(

PRICELESSLY GOOD. A little less brash than authentic Indian but I love it, and so do a TON of Intel employees! Best lunchtime Indian buffet in 4 counties for ~$10 and its HUGE (See my photos on Yelp). The service at lunch is fantastic! Ive only been here for dinner during the Diwali dinner celebration (the Hindi "Festival of Light"). Ive been coming here for YEARS & Ive NEVER had a bad meal. Seriously - GO you wont be disappointed.

a lot of the cooking is done on the floor mixing is done on the floor, with sweaty Indian men with their armpits exposed hovering over the pot as they stir in the freezer, also much of there milk and some other products come from Grocery Outlet across the street which is expired. I delivered the groceries personally. I saw them mixing pots on the floor with nothing no shirt on. good luck to people eating here the pre warned

A clean and organized place with a highly recommended lunch buffet, especially for its variety and value. Catch the tandoori chicken when it is just made to enjoy it to the max. The only negative thing I remember is that the biriani in the buffet was dry when I came. Maybe because I came an hour before the end of the lunch time. Will come there again for sure !

A nice average Indian Buffet We eat here from time to time and it’s OK. There are better places and there are worse. I enjoy goat curry, and they generally don’t do a good job with that. They don’t do a better than average job with anything, as far as I can tell. If you are in the neighborhood, it beats fast food. A good place. Not a wonderful place.

One of the best Indian buffet lunch places in the Sacramento area. There is a wide selection of chutney and quite a few chicken and veggie options. The naan is pretty fresh, and you can even ask for a garlic naan version. This is one of the few places with a rotational dessert menu, including mousse and gulab jamun (donut holes in syrup)

I had a very bad experience. Ruchi, did not display the names for the different dishes kept on the table I.e. Veg or non- Veg . This created an utter confusion for the Vegetarians. Ruchi should improve their services by indicating the name of the dish to differentiate Veg or Non- veg for their future catering services.

food was ok.. but terrible.. terrible service.. especially there is this guy (skinny indian fellow with thick glasses...) who sort of behaves like he is feeding homeless people.. almost throws the plate in front of you.... will not go there again..or recommend anyone to go there there... total disgrace !!

Very poor service. Even when they were closing they let us in. When we went to get the second filling. they said there is no cook and what was there is there. We had 4 kids with us and were very upset with it. Not going there again. Even the food was not great.

This was supposed to be all you can eat buffet but they only give you a half naan and if you ask for more then you have to wait. They have more variety of dishes than other Indian buffet places in the area but quality is still pretty low.

Perhaps once each month, my wife and I patronize this establishment for their buffet lunch. We both feel the food is excellent: great flavors and good variety. I, particularly, enjoy the Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken). Recommended.

Worst South Indian food here. Ordered Kara dosa. Came after 30 minutes that too totally dry. Also, the server, while serving, spills sambhar on my friend and then leaves smiling, doesnt even return to clean the mess.

Ordered Chicken Biryani take home. The food smelled stale. Called the Restaurant and returned the food. Now I am loosing interest eating at this restaurant. Ruchi should start concentrating on this kind of issues.

2stars. Poor taste. Poor service. Poor pairing of food. Edit. After eating main course, changing it to one star. Wish I could give it zero. Poor poor place. Have to pay for essential accompaniments.

Great food and great service. We ordered two chicken dishes and taste was great. Naan was delicious . Gulab jamun was not good at all , but the chicken itself is enough to make it a 5 star choice.

The food was great. My only complaint is that they bring the little things late like a drink or a straw. My family asked for a couple of straws and we never got them. Otherwise really good.

The only place in Sacramento that serves decent Hyderabadi style Biryani. Their buffet has good options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians with the quality being consistently good.

We were served efficiently even though we had a flight to catch in an hour. The chilli cuts were great. Some of the gravies were pedestrian, but the quantities were more than enough.

I love Ruchis Indian lunch buffet. Spicy okra, Chicken Masala, Saag, Deep Fried Vegs, Goat Curry(watch for bones), & Fresh Nan are a few of my favorites. Always so delicious!
