Is it this the KBBQ thats been splurging with new locations in CA? Yes. Is it worth the $20.95. In comparison with the other AYCE places in the san fernando valley. We wont mention K-Town. K-town is just another level above the san fernando valley. Lets talk about the AYCE places in the san fernando valley in comparison to Gen Korean BBQ. I have been here multiple times because I have had different friends, co-workers and relatives who wanted to give it a try. The 1st time was already enough to make a impression on me and wasnt looking forward for more visits, but my peeps wanted to go for their first times. Thankfully they already said it will be their last times. Now the first time I was here, it was a Friday night and business was booming. The wait was 2 hours. I had a friend driving in from Oxnard to eat Gen Korean BBQ, just because he loves GEN. So, I checked in for 2 for a table. or half table and half booth and the front receptionist knew what I said. She literally wrote table or half table.booth. After 2 to 3 hours wait, because I requested a half booth/table and/or table.. guess what happened? We get a booth. Do these people understand english?? Now the other times I had come here, it was the same thing. Front desk service {Fail} Now, we head into our table and start to order. Banchan (side dishes) are very small. Its like if you go to a bar and get a side of peanuts. They come in a petri dish. Thats what our banchan came in. {FAIL} Ordering Drinks {FAIL}. It wasnt even a busy night and our female server just was either new or kept on forgetting our drinks. Not til the almost end of our dinner, she came out with our drinks and when a refill was requested.. LOTS OF ATTITUDE {A+ on attitude} When it came to refilling our side dishes which was mostly just kim chi and potato salad. What do we get? Attitude!!! (A+ on Attitude) But, wed have to wait on for our refill for a long time. We have to contact management to get our refill. We had a friend who ordered SOJU, and what happened? He had gotten his Soju at the very end when we got our check. Disappointed? He was surely disappointed. {FAIL on service completely} When asking for check {A+ on getting it fast} Will i Recommend people to come here. {definite no} Will I ever come back {definite no}. Rather go to Pine Tree.

The first time I came to this place, the service was shaky. It was their grand opening week, so it was understandable that the staff was just learning. The waiter forgot a few things and was way too busy to help each table to the fullest extent. He was very apologetic, so no biggie I thought Id give them another shot. The second time I came, everything was much better. Management was friendly and we were served and seated promptly. So I thought maybe I found a new neighbor hot spot. However, I went there today with my baby daughter and the hostess didnt really acknowledge us when we walked in for awhile because she was busy talking on the phone. Then when she finally addressed us she told us she would seat us in a little bit because she was still preoccupied with whatever it is she was doing. It was lunch time and there were many open spots but we still waited patiently. Then three randoms come breezing through the door, she smiles at them, grabs menus and says, "Follow me." What the hell?! Now, Im not a stupid person, I own a business myself. I get that sometimes there are no smaller tables available, only larger ones or visa versa. That wasnt the case here. She even looked directly at me as she did it. We were the only ones waiting. I dont get it. Of course, I walked out after that. I called to speak to the manager. She said the manager was with the health department. I left my number and was never called back. So, it looks like back to one of the other million Korean BBQ places in town.

This is a pretty good korean BBQ place for this area and the long wait on weekend nights (even after 9pm) backs it up. The small plates and kim chi they put out are decent, but obviously you are just here for the meat. We have tried pretty much everything, and in my mind the spicy pork was by far the best. I also liked the kalbi (especially the boneless kalbi), shrimp, and octopus steak. Some of the meats, like the hawaiian steak and particularly the bulgogi, were pretty good but came in very, very small portions. Which is somewhat annoying as they limit you to four plates of meat at a time, although they were a bit lenient on that. I didnt like the brisket much (I thought it lacked flavor overall) but other reviewers seem to like it so your mileage may vary. Side dishes were pretty good (none really stood out to me although one of my friends was bananas about the jap chae) and the service was overall very good - definitely more polite and helpful than many other KBBQ joints. Parking is kind of a nightmare, you may want to go a little north to find spots once it gets packed in this strip mall. While its not my absolute favorite KBBQ place in los angeles, it is definitely the best one I have been to in the valley. I predict I will be back and I do recommend it! Do be aware - their side dishes have changed from the menu on even their website! I tried to get cheesy pork cutlets (sounds good to me, I dunno) but our waiter said they didnt have that or the gyoza any more!

I went to this place to celebrate my sons birthday this week. The waitress to serve my family was very rude and her responsiveness to requests of orders was bad and disrespectful. As this is all-you-can-eat place, servers basically need to collect multiple orders from the same customers, but the waitress only stopped by my table when she happened to pass by the table when I was able to get ahold of her. When deliverying drinks, she just put all of cups at the corners of the table and didnt care each of cups to any of my family members. When replacing plate she just dumped all of meats on the old plate carelessly to a new plate so some of meats fell out of the plate and dropped to the table. No apology and didnt care. Requested a fork for my son and she gave me two dirty forks with food residue stuck on them. I had to clean them with tissues. Called her later and explained it but no apology and no response. The meat quality was bad. Basically no time to enjoy the food as my wife and I were too busy to look for the servers and so much frustrated by the low quality of service, food, and rudeness. It ruined my sons birthday dinner. I will never come back to this place, ever.

No need to drive all the way to koreatown now, we have a nice big BBQ house in the valley now. Its not bad at all, all you can eat $15 for lunch $20 for dinner They have beer, wine and soju which is good. Although it feels a bit like your in a club hahahaha, the music is blasting! I actually came here on a date and i have no idea way agreed, i was starving and I felt if I ordered more the guy would look at me like a fatty lol. Worse part, you come out smelling like burned food lol. Service was good, there when you needed, didnt Hover. Theres plenty of parking but since the gym is right next door, it getting pretty packed. I felt kinda guilty walking back to my car, passing the gym, cause I stuffed my face lol. Oh ya the meat quality is good but not amazing. You get what you pay for. I always like the really thin frozen meat.
