I have heard so much about this place of how good and interesting their waffle is, however, after tasting it myself, I thought of it as okay. Boyfriend and I came across Bruxie to finally try their waffle sandwiches. We ordered one chicken waffle with an additional added tomato soup and a coffee, and half sandwich (hot pastrami) and salad combo. The chicken was fried and was drizzled with some sweet sauce and diced up cabbage. I would prefer the cabbage shredded instead of diced because it was falling everywhere, and I wished it didnt fall apart each time we take a bite. The hot pastrami was actually tasty. The flavor was there and nothing fell apart. While the food was okay... we took a second glace of our receipt and something just didnt look right. Apparently we were over charged by $1 because they forgot to change their price on the board, BUT the machine automatically knew what was changed. We brought it to their attention, and got our refund back. Thanks. Despite the miscalculated meal, overall, it was okay. Seems to be a place to bring your kids so they can try.

First time here and tried the chicken & waffle gridle: my mind was blown!! The breading on the chicken has the perfect blend of spices, plus it has a mild spiciness. So, when you put some syrup on the waffles, you get some "sweet n heat!" The chicken was very tender. The waffles had a nice crunch on the outside even after topping with syrup! Also, their cream soda is so yummy, it tastes like cotton candy in my mouth. Finally, the service was pleasant, friendly, and fast. Great place, great people, yummy food!

Bruxie is one of those places that you might find trendy or too over the top. The truth is what Bruxie does in terms of food and their pairings of flavors in their sandwiches is nothing like your trendy burger joint or coffee shop. They have a number of sandwiches that you simply have to try them all. If you havent had their weekend breakfast sandwich, the egg and corn beef hash then youre missing out. Thank you Bruxie for take the normal mundane sandwich and giving it a good kick it the pants with flavor.

Love this place. I tried the original sandwich. The waffle is very light and not as thick and bready like a normal waffle so the sandwich was very filling without going overboard. The chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. We also tried the Nashville, it had a more smokey spicy flavor on the chicken which was delicious. It lacked a little on the sauce, nothing that a side order of sauce couldnt fix. And the waffle fries tasted homemade.

Fun food concept. Your usually trendy place to eat. Chicken is great but it gets drowned out by all the other things on the sandwich. Waffle fries are cooked to perfection just too salty. We even asked for a replacement order but it was also too salty. This place is family and pet friendly. The outdoor patio is great. The restaurant is nice and clean and the customer service is very good. I guess I would come back.

Not a huge fan of waffles but I would come here and eat the waffles again! When you first walk into the store, you order over the counter and theyll give you a buzzer. I ordered the Green Eggs and Ham. It came with eggs, ham and a pesto aioli sauce. So good! I wasnt expecting the waffles to be so crispy! It was perfect for a breakfast meal. I would definitely come here again and try out the other combinations!

Finally made it to Bruxie. We came for a New Years Eve lunch! Great French dip, pastrami and beef sandwiches. The tapioca was a special treat. Amazing! The gang that accompanied me also raved about the potato salad. On guy had lamb on rye. Gave it an ok. Overall though this is an CA icon. The ambiance is great. You meet people, rub shoulders, and feel the past go by as you enjoy great food!

Waffle sandwiches such an amazing concept and mouth watering concept! This food spot is one of those places where youll want to try all of it! You cant go wrong and the weekly specials rotate all the time so you if you want to try something new youll always have the chance to! The seating is great! Its a very open space with both traditional seating and outdoor seating. Definitely comfort food!

Some of the better waffles Ive had, and the preparation for breakfast or lunch is great. Breakfast is breakfast sandwich type food served in a waffle, lunch and dinner is typically with friend chicken. Theyve expanded the menu and have good alternative options too. Their combo with waffle fries and a drink can be done individually too, if you only want to add on one or the other.

Pretty decent place with delicious food options. They use quality food ingredients, like hormone free chicken, and artisan sodas that they make themselves with no high fructose corn syrup. That being said, it is fairly pricey, and the portion size doesnt fair with the price you pay. It is, however still worth checking out, because the taste of the food is great.

Yummy, but expensive. 6-8usd for a waffle sandwich with no fries included. The restaurant is an open area with no windows. Very clean and food is good. They have both salty and sweet waffles. Buy both, salty one for main entre, and the sweet one for dessert. Must try their chicken and waffle, or the smoke salmon one!

Ive heard a lot of buzz about Bruxie, so we gave it a try. The food is good but not spectacular. The waffle fries are great. Greek salad is okay. The bacon breakfast sandwich had a perfect egg in it but tasted like any other breakfast sandwich. Theres lots of seating here though, and Id be willing to try it again.

Ive been here multiple times and Ive always had good sandwiches..the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because some days the waffles are amazing and some days they are soggy and just not good. Give this place a try if your ever in the area and dont be afraid to try one of the dessert waffles

Who doesnt like chicken and waffles? This place has so many different waffle combinations that it can get overwhelming the first time you look at the menu. The chicken has a great crispiness and flavor to it. I dont recommend getting the waffle fries though. They almost have no flavor to them.

Ordered a pastrami & swiss waffle sandwich to go. My order was accurate and was ready quickly (granted it wasnt very crowded at the time). Got a $2 coupon on the bag for my next visit. I only come to Brüxie every once in a while but I might go back to redeem it.

Great food! Vanilla cream soda is my favorite drink (free refills just ask)! I usually order a "sweet" entree to save (most are $5.95)! But if you choose to get something like the bruxie burger, I never finish (very good and filling-- worth the spend). :)

This place was really good. I didnt have much hope for a good savory breakfast (because waffles are sweet, I thought) but it was amazing - the bread was crispy, buttery, light, and delicious - and not too sweet. Id definitely go back.
