I love this place and was so excited to visit it on July 4th. The gal at the cash register and taking orders was very off. When I asked her what type of ice tea they sold, she said, "A tropical passion or green tea." I ordered the tropical passion with a healthy scone. My daughter ordered a strawberry pastry. The Heidelberg employee gave a green tea, different type of pastry and forgot to charge me or give me my scone! Whats up with her.

Great service and cute patio. Its a bit loud outside worth the traffic but still nice to get a little glympse of the ocean. The filet Mignon Benedict was a neat twist but surprisingly bland. The hollandaise sauce was great and I liked how it was served over a potato pancake. The surprise for me was the fresh fruit: pear, strawberries, kiwi, apples, and oranges! The honey latte was tasty...perfect bitter/sweet balance.

We came here and got the paprika sausage since it was the most popular one and I love the flavor! We got the one where they gave us an extra sausage for a couple more bucks, so it was around 9 bucks total for two sausages and two pieces of bread. The sausage was really good and the paprika taste was great! We used the sauce to dip in the pieces of bread! The service was really good and quick too!

Very disappointing. Food was marginal & greasy. Tables are crammed together. Counter girl couldnt tell me if the coffee was Illy or not. Laguna seems to have an issue with counter help that are disengaged with what their roles should be. Know your stuff before you speak with the public.

Coffee is really good. Theres Vienna roast and almond roast. Both are fantastic. Egg Heidelberg is outstanding too. Only street parking is available but it isnt bad on a February Sunday morning. BTW, "harvest scone" is healthy and delicious !

Such a cute little cafe. Well actually on the inside it isnt that tiny. The food is yummy. The serving staff is fast and the tea in the giant cup is pretty good. Plus its a nice little walk up from the beach.
