Well my wife and I went to this place. The first sign of trouble when I walked in the place was what always frighten me in a restaurant, the floors were filthy. So I gave it the benefit of the dought, being about 2: p.m. fairly close to closing time. So I requested grits with my meal in place of the hash browns or counrty potatoes. To my suprise the waitress asked me if I wanted my grits right away or with my mean, strange!. So I said with my meal please. Then I asked, you dont consider grits an appetizer do you? So anyway the grits did come ahead of the rest of my food, lumpy and watery. I asked for my eggs to me scramble medium. They showed up scrambled hard and scary looking. My wife ordered corn beef hash with hash browns. Her meal showed up with country potatoes and corn beef hash from a can. My ham and the biscuits and gravy was good, although I could hardly see the biscuits for the gravy. And very true they do give very large portions. So if you like quanty better then quality this is your place.

Service was fine, the waitress was nice helpful. However, the food was not good. I ordered the guasti scramble and it was cold old and dry. Maybe i arrived too late but i felt like my food had been premade and had been sitting as it was cold. The pancakes although huge tasted like day old batter. My companion ordered the chili Verde omelette and the egg again seemed dried out the meat was tough? Chile Verde is supposed to be tender and again the food was cold. Perhaps they cut corners on the weekend to serve people quicker, or maybe I am picky which ever the case I will not be back. Another thing the cashier when I paid, did not say one word to me,not even a thank you. I handed her the cash and she handed me the change. Portions are too big prices very reasonable and good coffee.

Wow! I like this place. They give huge portions. You can easily share a plate between two people. Even their pancakes are big. Bigger than your head. Maybe its as big as both of our heads combined. LOL Service was fine. And there is plenty of parking for this place. At least when we got there early in the morning. Its a huge cafe and this place gets a lot of customers so I can see their parking lot getting full quick despite its size. Their omelettes were good and their sausages were good. Just a side of sausage gave you four sausages. :) BTW: things to note are that this place is cash only. Also your whole party must be present for them to seat you. Im a fan!

I know some people will say Flos Airport, C_ck-A-Doodles, or even the breakfast sandwiches at EZ Takeout are the best breakfast in town, but this place is right up there. Portions are huge, service lags a bit, but then its almost always packed so you see waitresses running for their lives and dont mind waiting for an extra cup of coffee. Ive learned that extra cheese should be added to everything, and to not try and finish the biscuits and gravy if I dont want to take 75% of my main dish home. Its worth checking out at least once if youre looking for a good breakfast

We have been coming here for years from when it was in Guasti. Home style food and service with a smile. The food is great and served quick in large potions. Bring someone to share, you cant eat it all by yourself ! They are known for this huge pancakes. If you get a short stack you can take one home in a pizza box. Omelettes are stuffed! The best dish is the Guasti Skillet. Home fries, meat, veggies and eggs all together with toast or biscuits and gravy on the side. It is enough for at least 2 people.

I visited this place more than once. Their portion sizes are huge, but their disrespect to the customer, i.e., me and my fiancee, on our last visit, earns them a single star rating. Ton of empty tables and the server tries to seat us next to t where the bus boy dumps the dirty dishes and where the severs enter orders and prepare checks. To add insult to the injury, while the proper section of the restaurant is cool and nice, the place we were seated has no A/C and was frying under the sun.

I was 1st introduce to Guasti back in the early 90s when they used to be in a barn literally in the middle of a farm, lol!!! The food is still great after all these years imagine that. Staff are friendly & service is quick even if they are always busy. Portion is huge & price is reasonable. There is a table of 20 plus every time we visited. All taste delicious but my most favorite is the $10.79 Guasti Skillet, it comes with everything and the Kitchen Sink! This serves 3-4 meals for me.

Guastis has always been a place for great meals at a reasonable price. Known for their larger than life pancakes, know That the meals here are not small by any means. I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Know that it closes before dinner so dont be late.Sundays are always very busy so be prepared to wait. But I have never known a meal that did not exceed expectations.

Food was what I expected. Unhealthy home style american food. It wasnt amazing, but the portions were huge to make up for it. My only real issue was that the waitress was too busy by the looks of it. It took over 10 minutes to catch her eye to place our order, and this wasnt the only incident where we just couldnt seem to get her attention. Overall a good value for what you get.

Ive been going to this place since before it moved from its original place, and I can always say I leave well fed, in a good spirit and with no complaints at all. The coffee is great, the food is awesome. And they serve you plenty for your buck. The pancakes there are the best Ive ever tasted. Great family place, with quick service and great food. Its definitely worth the trip.

This meal was the worst! The hash browns were so greasy it was all you could taste. The gravy on the biscuts had no good flavor. My husband and I dine out frequently and often share meals but have never been charged for an extra empty plate. Even the bill was soaked in grease! This place is definitely quanity over quality. Not sure where all the positive reviews came from.

We went yesterday for breakfast never been before....IT WAS THE WORST WAITRESS AND SERVICE TOO. I thought I was an inconvenience to the woman for asking for a moment to look at the menu. It not worst from that point on. Dont order chili cheese omelet... It was just beans over the omelet. AWFUL. It must have to make up for the food with the huge portions.

My family and I have been eating at this institution since it was in Guasti. Great place, great service, large portion, great menu and most of all really good home style food. Down side is the wait can be substantial on weekends and they do not take credit cards. Over all I give the place a strong B +
