RG Burgers was one of my favorite places. Today, the day after Labor Day, was a real disappointment. Everything was off. The normally excellent fries were cold (we complained later and agree with the manager that we should have complained immediately). I ordered a turkey burger with mushrooms and cheese; the mushrooms were canned (they were fresh the last time!) and the bun was not whole wheat as I had ordered. My wife ordered a turkey burger with mushrooms; she got a cheeseburger with mushrooms. I guess this could be her fault or the waiters fault. Oh -- just checked the menu online -- the mushrooms burger specifies "fresh sauteed mushrooms" -- so why did we get canned mushrooms?! Disappointing. The manager did not really seem to care other than berating us for not telling them immediately what was wrong. He cut me off before I could explain how everything was off. Maybe they were all tired after Labor Day weekend.

This is a solid burger joint. I personally thought the staff was kind and friendly. You dont come to this place for a crazy delicious meal but its a decent burger place. The fries are really good. I had a Cajun burger - not fantastic if you want intense flavor but still a good burger. Husband had the western burger and he enjoyed it. We ended our meal with a cookie and creams milkshake - I am very particular about icecream so I didnt think it was worth it. At least the cookies and cream wasnt in my opinion. But it is still a nice place. If youre hungry and want a quick burger - I would recommend it.

decent burgers, the patty was a little dry. their fries were delicious. they were very accommodating, made my boyfriend a lettuce wrapped burger. There were quite a few servers coming by our table, but the service was good. unfortunately didnt have space for the milkshake but locals seemed to rave about it. a nice stopping point if youre in the area or driving along highway 1.

Stopped here for some Root Beer floats on the way back from San Simeon. All I had were fries and root beer float with my GF and it was pleasant. The service isnt the quickest but, the staff is very friendly and nice. This, in my opinion, made up for the slow wait time to order. I would go again if I lived near by. The prices seemed cheap and the service was friendly.

They were very accommodating and allowed my wife to bring her own bun (allergic to gluten) and they made me a burger that wasnt on the menu at no additional cost. The burgers are good, not the best but Id go back. Staff werent the brightest bulbs in the pack but they did an okay job. Worth a try if you are in the area.

The waiter acts like he doesnt want to be there and is clueless half the time and kept giving straws even though we didnt need it. Also, the servings they give you are so small its almost offensive. When I was eating my fries, there was a few sweet potato fries carelessly tossed it. This place is Meh. Not that good.

First time we went we were on our way to camping. We thought of a burger stumbled on to RGS I had the Teriyaki Eggplant! My wife had Tuna. Unfortunately not all the time do they have Eggplant or the same great cook!! We traveled to get there and no Eggplant ,but Great waiter David made it enjoyable! !!

Falafel burger was overcooked and flattened out until it was about 2x the size of the bun, plus it is MORE expensive to get a falafel burger. It surprises me that chickpeas would cost more than beef, especially to the point of a price premium when ordering.

Went to RG burger a while ago and juts fail in love with it. Its a great place to lay back and just enjoy the food, the staff and managers are wonderful. The food is great, delicious and fresh.

Expensive food, lousy service & food. Staff makes too much noise, tries working too fast. Management should monitor this site really close. Same restaurant in Monterey is far better.
