Carmen the general manager greeted us at the cash register as we were about to order after waiting in a 15 minute line only for her to tell me we cant order if we didnt have a table we were about to leave and my husband saw all the empty tables outside in the patio and ask if we could eat there, she then said yeah I guess and took my order but I ordered a pozole for my self and a wet burrito for my husband I specifically ordered the burrito twice to make sure she heard it was chicken and I ordered cups for water so she did give me TWO cups but never placed my husbands order! I didnt know until my food came out and we waited and waited and my husbands never came! Mine was a soup so by the time we got a hold of the waiter and asked him for the rest of the order he said it never got placed and we had to go pay and reorder 15 min later his food came with no silver wear! The waiter told my husband to get up and get it by the soda machine! Terrible customer service it totally ruins the food as the environment is that of not needing our business since its so full! Well first and last time we come here and they better believe we will tell all of friends and family on base and this who come visit the outlets! Awful!

First of all, the food here is excellent. It is without question the best Mexican food in Camarillo (dont let it go to your head, thats like the best pork chop in Riyadh- Camarillo is a restaurant wasteland). The ingredients are all high quality and the taste is outstanding. I rate it higher than the Montecito location. Second, this is not a place that caters to locals. Its in the Outlet Mall and likely does not see its customers again. Which is why I gave them 3 stars and not the five they should get. The food is very over priced. Im always willing to pay more for good food but $14. for nachos is over the top. Ive been going since they opened and the plate of nachos I got today was exactly half of their normal portion. My go to dish at Los Arroyos is the molcajete which is always terrific. Today it was 2/3 the size and they eliminated the shrimp. Theyve stopped giving chips with their entrees now as well. I know their target customer is the one time tourist. As much as I enjoy the food, I cant justify small portions and high prices just because theyre catering to the tourist/shopper trade and not the loyalty of locals.

Los Arroyos offers a good selection of cuisine, including both traditional items, as well as more typical "Mexican food" dining experience. The dining room is small, has ample natural light, and comfortable seating. Service is fast-casual, with counter ordering and table delivery. I have enjoyed several of their dishes, including the burritos, chimichangas, and several dinner "specialties." Their molcajete is quite good. Food is neither bland nor too spicy, and the flavor strikes a good medium to appeal to a broad plate. As a local, this is one of the few establishments I frequent in the outlet mall area, as I typically try to avoid crowds and traffic.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now and every time we visit this place we are always well served with delicious authentic Mexican food and with amazing employees that help us figure out what to try and what they recommend:). Alejandra a fantastic employee always knows the right taste on what to recommend as well as the servers who attend well when dining in. The manager, Marlon is very attentive with everyone visiting the tables to assure satisfaction to ultimate deliciousness of this great food. Highly recommended this place to come eat some awesome staff that have great hospitality.

It would be great if the horchata was included with a softdrink purchase rather than a separate limited item. I had the molcajete and it was tasty. Los Arroyos is interesting because its cafeteria style ordering but everything else is up to par with a full service restaurant: proper silverware, skillets/rock serving plates. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I would probably give this place 3 stars for not having free chips but the quality of food makes up for it. This place serves Coke. The ice tea is pretty good though.

When I am in the area I have to stop here and enjoy delicious Mexican food, there service is always welcoming and there good us full of flavor I love there "sopes" there beans are delicious and everything I have ordered is great I highly recommend this place.

At first when we walked in its not what we expected. You order at the front and take a number to your table and its a little pricy. But the food was super delicious and the place was nice and clean. Very fast service too

Food is pretty good, but not authentic mexican food. More of a American style, reheated rice, but good service. 15 dollars for a burrito and a soda, not bad for a fancy pollo loco.

Fresh food, very tasty! Carnitas were delicious! Their salads looked great too! A little pricey, but it was worth it! First basket of chips is on the house with your order.
