El Camino is one of those small family restaurants that a lot of people have never heard of, but that everyone who has gone there really likes. My coworker and I stopped there one day and decided to give it a try, and Im very glad I did. As I usually do when at a new Mexican place, I ordered a carne asada (steak) burrito. Its a simple, safe item that tells me a lot about the place. I ordered mine "wet" (covered in enchilada sauce and cheese). This burrito was HUGE, and it was delicious. The steak was tasty, and so were the beans, and there was enough cheese to round it out. It wasnt the very best burrito Ive had, but it was good enough that Ive been back at least a half-dozen times, sampling other items on the menu, all of which were good. The decor is Mexican-themed, and nothing to write home about, but this isnt a fancy place, just a good place to get some good, well-priced Mexican food. Service was always good, though Ive occasionally had to wait a bit for a drink refill. Overall, I definitely recommend El Camino.

Mediocre food and RUDE staff. I gave the woman 40 for a 22 dollar meal and she tried to give me 3 dollars back! When i told her, she argued with me. So i said i will sit here while u count ur register in comparison to the reciepts. She SUDDENLY remembered then that i gave her 40. This isnt the first time i had this issue. They need to FIRE her or get an employee who has a higher math level than 2nd grade.

We have been going there for YEARS! We have no desire to even try another Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent and its always more than you can eat. The the prices are reasonable and the service is great. Thank you to this wonderful family for giving Brentwood such a great place to eat!

Best El Camino is the best. We are now living in Modesto and travel 100 miles round-trip to go eat there. Its worth every bit of time. The Chile Colorado is the best Ive ever eaten and the number 65 burrito is the size of Maine plus its third-generation family business not some plastic chain

Grew up on Delta Road, El Camino was always our favorite Mexican Restaurant ! Have to try the Combination Platter with a Pork Burrito on the side with Green Chili Sauce ! Lived in Europe for the past 20 Years, but El Camino is always a must when I´m in Town !!!! Thumbs Up !!!
