Dear Brentwood Cafe, It was a typical Sunday morning at this marvelous cafe, July 26th. We were fortunate to be seated immediately. Denise was our server. Our waffles came cold. Denise was simply wonderful in response. Our food was terrific, as usual. Allysa was everywhere with water, coffee, ice, whatever we desired. Shes a pure dynamo. Jades the same, both of them tirelessly serving their cherished lovers of eastern Contra Costas finest dining experience. If you in the area, enjoy the magnificent trucks, the lighted trees on Oak Street, the friendliest folks; however, with all you do and see, do not miss your breakfast at the bountiful Brentwood Cafe.

Ive lived in Brentwood for a little over 5 years now. My family are of the "Regulars" here at the Brentwood Cafe. The Owners are amazing people, the staff is phenomenal, and the food is excellent. If youre looking for a that home cooked / small town restaurant feel and food at an excellent price, this is the place for you to go. In the 5+ years my family has been going to this cafe, no one has ever had food poisoning (unlike trips to other restaurants and fast food places in the area), weve always left full with left overs, and have had an amazing experience with the staff and owners. You couldnt ask for a better place to bring your family too.

In town for baseball tournament. Super busy when we arrived. We were sat immediately and ordered within minutes. This was the best part. We then waited 45 mins and asked the waitress to check on our food. She apologizes and said 10 more mins. We waited another 25 mins before we finally got up and left. Cant say how the food was but service sucked. The place had completely cleared and been re-sat. People had come in after us and gotten their food. Worst service I have ever had. Hope they learn from this.

Always great. Paul the owner and cook takes the time to come and check to make sure you are pleased with your meal. The portions are huge. We go there a lot, until about 2 weeks ago when we went for dinner. The place was closed down on a Saturday night. No note, no explanation. We have gone by and called since and it is still closed ,no one answers the phones and theres no message or machine to leave a message. Theyre wonderful people, we hope to see them open again real soon!

Not the nicest looking place, but the service and food are always great. Its like eating at grandmas house. You dont need to dress up. If youre on a budget try the biscuits and gravy. (especially on Friday afternoon. ) You get a lot of food for the money. Kids love it. Pancakes, waffles, club sandwich, meatloaf, turkey, prime rib, Sirloin steak, navy bean soup, etc. I like to go in the off hours and not in large group because food always better that way.

This is my favorite place to eat in Brentwood. They have wonderful food with large portions and very friendly staff. Ive been going to "Bwood" for over 6 years and Ive rarely been disatisfied with the food. And they always make right if I am. They get to know you by name and they treat every customer, first timer or regular like they are important. I cant complement them enough. In fact, Im writing this from the counter...

Imho, one of the best places in Brentwood to get a great breakfast. My last trip I got the California Benedict. The waitress saw my egg was a little over done and offered to get me new ones. Afterwards the owner even came out and asked if everything was alright and to make sure I was happy with the new eggs. Great family joint! It does close a little early which limits how often I can go.

experiences in Brentwood, this one was mediocre. The room was dingy. Tiles looked like and old elementry school. The omlette was covered in processes american cheese. Hashbrowns tasted of oil. The gravy is the same powder mix everyone else who cant make the real stuff seems to use. Just heavly salted. The pancakes were pretty good. Edit: I got food poisioning and threw up.

We love it here!!!! Big plates, friendly staff and feels like youre at your grandparenta house. Order the eggs benedict but tell them you would like it "the way Mike gets it". The ham is a thick slice and has cheese as well. The only downside is the long wait. But, trust me it is worth it!

My first visit was excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast and the prices are tough to beat. The feeling of old-fashioned and established traditions are palpable here and the locals come regularly. Its a really good breakfast place.

The waitress forgot she was getting me water and they use Kraft single cheese slices on their omelettes. Blah. Its half way decent tasting but they dont have CHOLULA sauce. So many red marks... Haha
