Now here is a diner worth driving a distance for lunch or breakfast. I found this place when I was driving through rio vista. California. After stopping for a very delicious breakfast I decided the place was special and a return visit was a must. The next day (24 miles mile drive) I returned to have lunch! Once again the food was fantastic. So far I can say fresh eggs, the best pancakes ever! And now after today - incredible tuna sandwich. The tuna was not fishy or strong (white albacore) prepared with delicious ingredients. Next time I will try the meatloaf! this diner deserves a standing ovation for great friendly service and outstanding home style food!!!

Update- I went back. Tried something new (omelette with chicken sausage and hash browns). Still delicious! Im sad that I didnt get to try the lamb burger. If its still there on my next visit, will try. You will miss this place if you blink but it is fabulous. Dont come after 2 because this place closes. The pancakes I ordered were massive and I have a new fave, the mocha thai latte.

Another very positive experience. Food was good, as always. Of particular note was my server, Athena. Her manner was genuinely friendly, courteous, and upbeat. Her smile was infectious and I truly appreciated her eye contact when speaking to me. For me, the friendliness and the eye contact can mean the difference between returning to the establishment or not.

Wow! Came from NV on vacation to my hometown in Lathrop and stopped here on our way to Kelley belly for lunch and this place is awsome friendly service and great food. I also had an iced latte to go that was great as well!

Lovely place, made from scratch pastries, Cinnamon Rolls are huge and yummy maple bacon donuts, they make custom coffee by request @coffee bar ,small quiet and cute!!
