worst customer service I have had in a long time from being seated to ordering drinks and food. after being seated 1 of the servers asks what we would like to drink after we order our drinks 15 minutes go by with no drinks then a different server comes up and asks what we would like to drink.... so we order our drinks after 20 total minutes of being seated we finally have our drinks and dinner order in. The food afyer it arrived was over priced an super small portions I ordered seared scallops with risotto I received 4 scallops on a pile of pink flavorless slop the scalops were cooked well and tasted good but were extremely small the kind you would find in soup not as a main protein . Then once again the first server shows up asking If we would like desert we said no thank you just the check once again almost 15 minutes goes by with no check now the second watress comes by and asks If we would like desert this time we just said no and handed our card to her this restaurant is small and did not have a full house they need to communicate with each other and spend alittle time getong Trained in customer service will never go here again its to bad because they have one of the best views in bodega bay

Maybe they were short staffed the Saturday night we were there. But the service was not able to keep up with demand. Simply getting to our table for the initial drink order took far too long. To their credit, the wait staff did seem to appreciate that they were struggling and offered apologies. The Bluewater is not a large room, and a wait staff of 3 seemed like it should be sufficient. But it wasnt. The cosmo suffered from too much cranberry, but the wine was good. And the wait was in any case too long. When the meal did arrive it was presentable, but I found the halibut lacking inspiration. The jerk chicken was similarly appealing to look at, and tasty enough, but still lacked serious zest. But the ambiance feels good, and the views are attractive. But thats not enough to elevate the overall rating. And thats too bad because this should be at least a 4 star place.

What a delicious dinner at the Bluewater Bistro last night! The new menu offered a very wide variety of tasty options; absolutely something for everyone. In fact, it was very difficult to decide what to ultimately order! The coconut butternut squash soup was sublime and ideal with the coconut prawn appetizer (lovely presentation) followed by cedar planked, honey mustard salmon with tropical fruit salsa, rice and fresh veggies. Perfection in every bite! Service, as always, is warm, friendly and efficient. Were returning soon and you should, too.

We were looking for a casual takeout dinner of salad and a pizza. While the server was very pleasant, the food was questionable. The salad had a large 1-2 tablespoon piece of mud in it and the pizza tasted like cardboard. The Pastoral Pizza had zero flavor in its chicken and sun dried tomato. In contrast the Apple cobbler that was offered as a replacement for the salad was very good and flavorful.

Came the day after Labor Day for lunch. Took a while to get the food. Server was nice and polite. Didnt check on the table very often. Nice view of the Bay. Fish tacos were good and came with a nice fresh salad. Right near the golf course so beware of obnoxious drunk old white men that are extremely loud and inconsiderate towards the other patrons.

Absolutely awful, never even going to think of coming back here. Outright refused to serve me because I was making the turn on a round of golf. Normally I wouldnt expect them to but the pro shop snack shack was closed and the told us to go down here. The lady in charge of the food was also very rude.

Love this place! Ive been going to bluewater for 3 years at least and the food is amazing and for decent prices. The staff is nice and welcoming. If you go for mothers day its wonderful!!!

Pretty good brunch. Decent menu and good drink selection. The restaurant parking lot is also the golf course parking lot so be aware of that. I would eat eat breakfast here again.

Great view, food was blah. Tried the calamari, clam chowder, caesar salad, fish sandwich and fish and chips. Felt like it was pre-packaged, generic.
