I love Mexican food and tend to try as many places out as I can searching for the elusive best. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants on the west side but this is not one of the best. Atmosphere, price and service are decent but the food is below par on many occasion. Carnitas have been dry virtually every time Ive ordered them and rice and beans are not among the best Ive had. With as many choices as the West side has for mexican food I say pass on this.

The food and service is always exceptional at this location. The only thing I didnt like was I asked if they could make a Bloody Mary because it is my favorite drink and they said they could. However once I received the drink not only did it not look like a Bloody Mary it tasted sour I am not sure how they attempted to make it but it was definitely not a Bloody Mary. Other than that the service is amazing and so is the food.

Mazatlan is definitely one of my favorite places to eat out and my go to place to eat Mexican Food. They serve good beer (Corona) and good margaritas too. Although, the margaritas can be on the stronger side of things, so bare that in mind if you decide to get more than one or a pitcher. The employees are very nice and do a great job of making sure youre well taken care of during your visit.

This is a good example of Mexican food from the Jalisco region. My family has been going there since it moved in. We had a long history with the family that sold it to the Mazatlan brand. Several of the staff members have been there for over a decade. If you used to like El Rodeo in Forest Grove or Cornelius, youll most likely have the same feelings for our Cornelius Mazatlan.

Service was horribly slow. Ive been coming here for years and tonight was the worst service Ive ever seen. My waitress stopped by the table once after taking my order. (She spent more time at the computer than with the customers. I had to ask the hostesses 3 times for a glass of water. If this is the service I can expect it will be a long time before I return.

If youre looking for a standard Americanized Mexican Restaurant, the one you remember from growing up in your own small town, then Mazatlan will please. Food is good, service is good. Has the standard cliche Mexican music and murals, combination plates galore, and a few other standard fare items. I like the food and I eat there regularly.

Hidden gems: the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce (ask for them Carlos Style, if you like your mole sauce >spicy). A la carté tacos: al pastor. Reg size tortillas packed with delicious pork & just enough pineapple little chunks to discern the various flavors. BEST BEANS anywhere in pdx & surroundings.

The food was great like the other Mazatlan locations we have been to but the service was terrible. It took forever for us to get our menus, then forever to get our orders taken, and then they brought the wrong food. Our first experience was better than the last time, but we wont be going back.

Its a good Americanized Mexican, its not authentic, but that doesnt make it bad The workers seem somewhat disconnected from the customers but will open up if you order in Spanish, or at least try to... The food is good, I mean its not the best, but I liked it the few times Ive been here.

My family and I had lunch on Saturday. The staff is so friendly and kind. Service was very quick and they accommodated our requests with a smile. We ordered chicken enchiladas, shredded beef tacos, Tortilla soup and Italian Margaritas and all was very yummy!

Horrible service when busy so dont go on the weekend. Actually had a taco so wet it fell apart, mustve sat on the counter too long. When I asked for a new one I was handed a taco shell. Took a half hour for water and then another 15 minutes for a refill

Pro: chips & salsa were good and generously given. Service was decent and food was standard fare. If youre willing to go to FG though, Taquiera Corona is way better food with larger portions for a lower price tag.

Every meal Ive eaten here has been very pleasing. I especially look forward to enjoying thier Sangria, but I personally prefer it without all the fruit and ice because it stands quite well on its own in a glass.

Had to keep reminding them to serve us. Had a fajitas and tasted like it was made with BBQ sauce. And found a hair in my foods towards the end of my meal had to stop eating. Was not authilentic at all.
