Ill edit this review once I get the food. I just ordered delivery from this place and the servers were SO RUDE. After trying to almost overcharge me for the delivery minimum and tricking me. The delivery minimum was $25 and they claimed I had $20, then after I added in an appetizer, charged me $3 for a side of sauce, and the entire thing came out to be $35!!! When I asked them to give me a cheaper appetizer, they tried to get me to take off the food that I was originally trying to order. When I told them to take off the appetizer, with the $3 they were charging me for the sauce, apparently it came out to exactly $25. Then they were basically DEMANDING that I tip them. I paid with my debit card, but I was going to tip in cash based off of how fast they took and everything. They forced me to put the tip in, and because I was so put off by the way they said I told them $1. Then the lady basically ridicules me for saying that, changes her tone, and goes "One dollar? ONE DOLLAR? No one tip one dollar here. Okay delivery 45 min." What the hell. I dont know how well the customers tip at her freaking restaurant, but I used to work in the restaurant business as a waitress and I NEVER expected people to tip for delivery/take out orders. When I eat in I always go up or down from 17% depending on the service, because I like to be nice and I tip fairly based off the service. These people need to learn how to be better servers. This is unacceptable.

I had a very pleasant lunch here. The service was fast, attentive, and friendly. I ordered a basil chicken rice plate, spicy and a hot Thai tea. First off, the rice was the best Ive had in Berkeley. It was cooked to the point where it is soft, but not mushy. Also, there was a slight jasmine flavor that made the rice enjoyable to eat on its own, opposed to being strictly a starch to mop up left over sauce with. The basil chicken was flavorful; the meat and vegetables were fresh. The Thai hot tea managed to translate the flavor of Thai iced tea without all of the calories from the cream (free refills too). The only thing I can criticize is that my dish wasnt spicy enough, but that may be due to my love for painfully spicy food. I would highly recommend walking a few extra blocks from downtown Berkeley to have the opportunity to enjoy this gem.

Happy to have found this place. Its so funny that I used to eat across the street at the chicken place but when I stopped going there because of seeing the owners dog in the kitchen I have found so many good restaurants. I have been thai delight several times now and have had the pad Thai and another dish with thicker noodles, cabbage and pork, quite good. The service is friendly and I will continue to come back. I am typically here during lunch and they are pretty busy. Street parking is hit or miss but even if you have to walk several blocks to get here - do it! Im excited to try the pumpkin curry next and their soups.

Our favorite go to Thai restaurant. Gave it four stars because since we started going here the portions have gotten smaller even though the process have gone up. We try to avoid being served by what seems like the owner because her service and manners are sub par. Especially since we eat there 2 days per week. By now we hoped she would know that we order the same thing every time and we dont order rice. But besides service, the food quality and taste is amazing. Just dont expect to be pampered and you will enjoy it.

My favorite thing about this restaurant, along with the delicious food, is that they offer an organic menu! I know of no other Thai restaurant that does this. I really appreciate their commitment to organics. Now if they would just get some organic beer Id really be happy.

At the back of the menu is an organic menu. This is the only reason we go to this restaurant. Organic Thai food makes me feel fresh and Alive afterwards. Regular Thai food makes me feel tired and exhausted. It is so lovely to have organic Thai food.

Nice little Thai restaurant with a great selection of spicy dishes. It has a "homey" atmospheric feel to the environment so I would assume it would be a great spot for late night dates/dinner.

Vegetarian review: Got the Tom Yum and Pad Thai. Food was a bit sweet, but they did have a dedicated and large vegetarian menu and were happy to customize. Great staff.
