Food: Some of the best Indian food you can get anywhere. Patio: This restaurant would be a money making machine if they only invested in a proper patio. The worn out furniture, non functioning fountain and just the cheap disorganized look is really a shame. Interior: Nothing to write home about. Feels like a lunch spot. Overall: A terrific spot for takeout. Owners please invest in your patio, it had a lot of potential.

High Peaks Kitchen is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. Food is made to order at your preferred spiciness level. Menu is exhaustive in a good way. House specialty broccoli tikka masala is amazing. Friendly staff, cozy outdoor seating, free chai, and easy payment of split checks make dining here a thoroughly pleasant experience. Interior decor is a little spartan, but Ill it over white tablecloths any day.

Service 5. Food 5. Atmosphere 3.5.( seating a little cramped). Prices 5. Vary reasonable. Shrimp biriani-lamb biriani- chicken curry-chicken tandoor leg quarters-chicken tandoor kabob-masala garbanzo- all for $70. With 2 sodas. Tea chai is free. All food was a five for us. (Wasnt a fan of the chicken tandoor myself). Will be returning anytime craving Indian in the Oakland/ Berkeley area.

Have been here many times and know the owners from when two of them took ESL Classes (they are now citizens). They are expert in Indian/Nepalese cuisine, they serve generous portions at a good price and they are very kind. Check them out!

Great for curry and naan. Has free chai tea which is always a plus! One order of curry and a naan is a good portion for most people, if not a little too much. Spicy actually means spicy and has a bit of a kick, so keep that in mind.

This is hands-down the best Indian restaurant in the bay area. The lamb tiki masala, sagg paneer, and bhangin bartha are off the chain. Staff is super friendly and theres also free chai!!!
