This place ceases to amaze me. The ownership must be complete morons. #1 we were told, see previous post that they were too busy to deliver to us some years back. After I wait and give these idiots some time to get it together (mind you my wife has done pick up during this period), Im told tonight #1 they dont know if they have an Eureka store and the #2 Google it. let me qualify this post. Im a college graduate who has lived my entire life, minus college in Humboldt County. Yes, Im not the sharpest tool in the shed for coming back, but for crying out loud, employ a drug program for those that you employ because they obviously have no clue on life if #1 they dont know you have other stores and #2 theyre telling customers to Google it. This pretty much goes stride in stride with the time they aid the were too busy to deliver to us after waiting 3 hours. Whomever trains employees/own this place has to be the biggest moron this side of the Rockies.

Stopped here on a motorcycle poker run so it was unusually busy with our large group. Staff was pleasant and accommodating, hustling to get the crowd and the locals served. Pizza is obviously New York style with giant slices, with some interesting topping choices. While we didnt order last, a mix up with our order meant we had to wait awhile for our food and subsequently our group left without us. The staff were upfront and apologetic and slipped us an extra slice before we even had a chance to complain. Pretty good pizza too!

Just purchased 1 slice of cheese pizza to go for my daughter. Waited for 20 minutes until I heard one of the staff yell my name from across the kitchen while they were pouring beer. She then chastised me that they had been calling my name many times. We were sitting at counter at the front near register. I also over heard the same young women reprimand another costumer a few minutes before. The pizza was burnt brown and old too. This is not the same staff as the Mckinlyville Pauls. Very sad.

The plus is they are open on Sunday. The pizza is very thin which I love, but not with a saggy crust. The girl wiping off the tables just wipes everything onto the floor which keeps the flies in the back part of the restaurant happy. My advice is to cook the pizza until the crust is done, clean the tables by wiping everything onto a plate and then place it into trash cans that have lids on them. Open trash cans are gross anywhere.

The sauce was good. The pizza only partially baked (crust pale, pie overall lukewarm). 13 pieces of mushroom and 15 pieces of 1/16th in. thick (if that) pepperoni on a medium pie. Center of pizza tasted and had the consistency of something that had been sitting in water. No wonder their prices are low, no wonder the delivery was fast. Doubt if Ill return. Considering what you dont get, they are way overpriced.

Being from Chicago, I have high expectations for pizza! This is by far the best pizza spot from san fran to Humboldt and we have tried a bunch! I still have my fave chicago spot but this is our go to in the area. Never dined in but last time we ordered for pick up, our pizza was burned so they gave us a few free slices, 2 sodas and cooked a new pizza for us! Very good customer service.

I had a bad experience, but most of the time they are good. After my bad experience the owner got ahold of me and is refunding me and apologized several times. He assured me that he is researching who was there and what needs to be fixed. I appreciated that he took the time and got to me so quickly. Definitely worth a second chance.

The pizza is really good and about the same price as other pizza spots in Arcata, but the atmosphere is neither friendly nor relaxing inside, which is why I always take-out my order and eat it at home. Prepare yourself for rude glares from the staff when you leave no tip for a take-out order.

Came with a group. Was told first persons food would be 30-40 minutes and it took 50 minutes. Next person in our group was next in line, got same 30-40 minute claim and didnt get their pizza for 1:20 minutes. Not alright. No offer to make it right.

Actual NY Pizza but too pricey, $0.65 for a sauce side after I spent $6 on a slice which was inedible without it. I ended up taking half the slice home and then throwing it away, sad!

I love their food. Its a little bit of a wait but totally worth it. If I was rating the best pizza places from one to ten it would be in first place. If you are getting pizza go here!

Pauls Live from New York is my favorite pizza in Humboldt County, hands down! They also serve raspberry Iambic from Six Rivers on tap here, which is so awesome.

A crispy crust for so far from the NY water. I like the Godfather and of course, the Cheese Slice. Local and diverse tap beer and gluten free pizza!

Good NY style pizza! Great variety of options, from traditional pepperoni, to the hippiest of kinds... One slice could be a full meal!

Delivers on their mandate. Pizza like theyve actually studied how they do it in NYC.
