This place needs updating. Its dark inside. We got seated by the window as I requested it however we have to move out of the window seat as the blinds where I seated are dusty. I mean who wants to eat when theres dust around you and a restaurant must be clean and not dusty as your serving food and a dusty restaurant is not good for health. Anyways to credit the server the service is fast and they mess up my order. I order a seafood linguininoasta and I ask if it is gluten free pasta and the server said and suggested a parpadelle gluten free pasta and I was happy as soon as I heard that gluten free suggestion paroadelle but only in the end I did not get the gluten free paroadelle as suggested by their server instead I got the non gluten free linguini. Eh whatever. The tiramisu is fine and I wish they dont puy too much chocolate on it as it becomes a chocolate cake mouse already. My daughter had gnocchi but the gnocchi is dry and yeah my seafood pasta taste like an I dont understand taste not unless you pour a lot of salt on it thats the only time youll taste the seafood pasta: The place is hot and its not easy to enjoy eating the food if your in a warm place with a hot weather. Eh NVM so far for my experience. I wont come back here.

My wife and I wanted something different in Vacaville so we gave Fuso a try. My wife loves artichoke hearts so we ordered an appetizer that included artichoke hearts. When it arrived, the artichoke hearts were missing. I asked the waitress about this and she disappeared for about 10 minutes. When she returned, she told us they were out of artichoke hearts and they substituted mushrooms. A couple of things are wrong with this. 1st - If the menu item is incomplete, you dont just deliver it to the table without the courtesy of saying something, you need to tell the diner BEFORE you place the order so they have the option of ordering something else. My wife doesnt like mushrooms so if we had known Fuso was substituting, we would have ordered something else. 2nd - its the waitpersons JOB to make sure what theyre bringing to the table is the correct order. Not bring whatever then argue with the diner about it. My wife loved the lamb but I think were going to try the "other" Vacaville Italian restaurant next time we want Italian food. Sorry Fuso, you had your chance.............

We have been traveling for 24 hours with 2 boys under the age of 7 that has included flight delays, layovers, 6 hours of sleep flollowed by a long drive. We stopped here halfway through to get some food and let the boys walk around. We came in a bit half-dead and beyond exhausted...just in time for their happy hour. We were met by Carolyn, the only person at the front the of the house and she instinctively met our needs, the boys had a huge piece of paper and crayons to draw, orders were taken quickly, boys were accomodated with extra plates (without asking), she was an absolute GEM, our food was out quickly and we just kept ordering and sharing for 2 hours. The food was good, service was great (steamed clams were so so good!)... As long as Carolyn is working/managing, we will make this our halfway stop in the future. The boys ran to the bridge after dinner and burned off steam at the park... This was a miracle place for us.

I am sorry to say that while the food was good, the owners attitude towards the customer sucks. They charged my Debit card with someone elses meal in addition to my meal. They did not bother to tell us of the error, and the following day we saw a charge of $350 on our account. After waiting 2 days for a callback, the owner never apologized or admitted they had caused the inconvenience. She said it was the banks fault. Eventually the hold on the account fell off, but it tied up $350 of funds for 4 days. The restaurant made no effort or offer of recompense or atonement. My recommendation, should you choose to eat here is to make sure they use your card correctly and warn them up front. Upon reading other reviews, we were not the only ones with this experience

Nice decor and nice waiter. The food was the worst we have ever had in an Italian Restaurant. We both ordered an item on the menu we have eaten and enjoyed many times in other restaurants in the Sacramento area as well as New York. We both nearly puked it tasted so bad. The waiter asked how we liked it and we told him we did not he was apologetic and offered to get us something else, but we both felt to bad we didnt want to put anything else in our stomachs.

Went for Sunday brunch and had the best salmon benedict I have had in ages. Also comes with bottomless sparkling wine or mimosas. Waitress Leilani was a real sweetheart and funny. I was there at a slow time, but service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere and decor, and in a nice part of town in downtown Vacaville. It would be a nice place for a night out with friends. I will definitely be coming back for many more meals.

Leilani the bartender is awesome! She makes the best drinks and is so attentive to your needs when you sit in the bar area. The bruschetta is great and the the beer battered chicken appetizer with the lemon aioli are seriously yummy. The bacon wrapped shrimp tapas are on my top ten list and you cant go wrong with a dinner entree. Add in the wine list and the full bar, definitely 5 stars...

Hubby and I had dinner here for the first time ever last night and boy, were we delightfully surprised by this gem! I ordered the goat cheese gnocchi with chicken entree and I swear it was THE BEST gnocchi Ive ever had. Ambience was a bit dark, but really nice and quiet. Service was impeccable and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be dining here more often!

Loved the food an ambiance - outdoor patio seating is nice. Errant apostrophe on the menu always bugs me but thats just me :) Its a nice place for lunch or dinner. Slightly pricey for the area but a good choice for a celebratory meal.

very good italian restaurant and also charming, moderate to higher prices, but if you go and want wine check the back of the list first. they place their house wines in the back so you end up grabbing the expensive ones up front.

Lovely ambiance for authentic Italian menu; live music in the bar area on weekends; patio dining for meals, drinks or nibbles. Reaonably priced. Excellent place to dine or have a group meeting, party, or dinner.

I love the atmosphere in this place, the lighting and paintings on the wall plus sometimes live music make his a great date night spot. Tasty good as well if you are craving big Italian dishes!

Loved the food. Had a great time enjoying dinner with family. We were able to relax and enjoy our meal and talk. There was a live band but not so loud we couldnt hear ourselves speak.

The food in general is good. Some of the dishes are very rich and can be a little overly buttery. The salads and appetizers are delicious. The music in the bar is fun.
