I have been eating at Naan of the Above for a few years. I live in the neighborhood. The Toasted Coriander Chicken is one of my favorite meals of all time. I also kinda like having to wait for it in the rotation of chicken dishes. Waiting increases my appetite. I love their rice pudding - Kheer. I also love eating outside. Like a lot of small places in Arcata I worry about getting a table sometimes, but I always seem to get one just in time. The Naan is great, and I appreciate that they will cook it 3/4 cooked for me. The staff there is always friendly and professional. Really a great addition to Arcatas restaurants.

I cant believe how good this food was!!! Visiting Arcata for 2 days and needed a quick lunch, so we found this spot... I was a little put off by the fact that it wasnt a permanent building but so happy we ordered! The curry of the day blew my mind, and the owner makes his own hot sauce that is to die for! The garlic Naan was huge and perfect for dipping in my curry. I wish I was local so I could be a regular.

AMAZING food great prices friendly staff. Their chana masala is delicious, especially paired with the garlic naan... Their naan, garlic or plain, are delicious, and i wish i knew how to make them because i would eat them every day!! I have only been one time since moving to the area and i will most definitely be back before moving home!!

The food is very high quality and delicious. The staff is very friendly and loves to laugh and tell jokes. When I work in Arcata and the wind is blowing the smell of the food to my worksite everyone comments about the wonderful smell and asks what it is. So I tell them and give directions to those who need them.

This WAS a really great place because the chicken curries were changed every week. According to the owner there is a new chicken curry dish every week. For the last three weeks, it has been chicken vindaloo ONLY and not the greatest flavor.... Wont be back!

By far my favorite place to eat in Arcata. So exotic and delicious, the aromas alone should cost about $3.50, but dont worry, theyre included in the deal. Food so good its almost addictive. Excellent food, affordable prices and generous portions. Q.E.D

I love their garlic naan, and everything I have ever tried there has been delicious. The atmosphere is a lot of fun, and I love that they are not just dog friendly, but that they take pictures of their canine customers!

Very friendly owner making delicious fresh curries! The naan and rice were perfectly cooked as well. Definitely worth checking out if you have a pallet for Indian food. Its a little pricey but filling nonetheless.
