This was once the king of BBQ in NLR, but in past 10 years the quality of the sandwiches and plates have both slid downward. Which is so sad. Ribs are still awesome. Meats are genuinely smoked on scene with hickory wood, which you can taste. The baked beans are unique in all the world, as are the original owners sauces. 3rd generation family owned now, but his grandpa Vance would cry over what has happened to his baby". I am not happy about finding gristle, fat, & bone in my sandwich.

EXCELLENT BBQ + sides + service! Being from TX & grew up on BBQ=Brisket, the White Pig brisket is THE BEST in this region, including Memphis. Wet ribs were excellent too, very meaty. All meats genuine slow-smoked with perfect flavor, the sauce was not too hot or sweet. Great value, we were too full to try fried pies... By all means if youre driving I-40 & hungry, or just have never tried them, visit the Pig - its certainly better than the rest, our new favorite!

Brisket not cooked right portions weak got one slice of brisket and 4 slices of sausage on a combo, good thing they gave me 3 sides or id have still been hungry, most places give at least 4 slices of brisket and a whole sausage. Not really good at all will not be back.

Pulled pork, smoked sausage and brisket! All delicious! Potato salad, amazing. Baked beans amazing. French fries, kinda plain, but still good. Sliced bread is not homemade. BBQ sauce delicious! Definitely recommend.

Excellent brisket and slaw! The decor is homey, service was great and the facility clean and comfortable. Almost settled for McDs right off the hwy. Boy are we glad we did not! Highly reccommend stopping by!

White Pig Inn has a very friendly atmosphere. Real homey and comfortable. The food is excellent and the service is excellent. The Pig has been in the same family for 70 years.

I love this barbecue. Its what I grew up on. Vinegar/tomato sauce and fries. Fries. You dont see that enough, too often its rolls. Pulled pork is the way to go.
