So I went here by suggestion from a friend, while visiting town. Immediately I realized that they do not focus on decorating. They are more concerned about the quality of their food. This is a good thing; the place doesnt look like much, it is outdated looking, but that adds to the quality of this place. The service was half and half. Every person who works there is nothing but rude. No smiles, just a "What do you want?" I say half and half, because although every person their was entirely rude in every way, the service was exceptionally fast. I mean we ordered and got our food in about three minutes. As for the food, it was delicious. I had the sliced beef brisket with potato salad and beans. All of the food was very good, the raspberry tea was good. The food was simply excellent. One of my friends got the rack of ribs, and he said they were delicious. Overall, I liked it. I would recommend it.

By far the best BBQ weve had anywhere in the country, and weve had a ton of BBQ and have lived all over the country. The place doesnt have the best atmosphere, but the staff is super friendly and the BBQ is out o this world. Im so stuck on their ribs that we eat there once a week. I am so lucky that I work downtown so its just an easy drive up Broadway. I love the BBQ so much that if I had my choice Id eat there more than once a week, but if I did that, Id be big as a boat. The greens are to die for too. They taste just like Moms with an extra kick. If you are expecting a restaurant like Chilis or Shortys dont go to Sims. Sims is there for one thing, great BBQ, not to impress you with the location. I cant wait till Wednesday. Thats when well be eating there again!

Heaping serving amounts. Food was great but all cuts of meat were covered in the same tangy bbq sauce. Would have loved to try the real meat. Had pulled pork, ribs, chicken and brisket. Couldnt tell which cut of meat you were eating sometimes. Ribs are definitely the signature plate here. Waitress was standoffish until we started talking to her and making friends. She made the best pound cake and cornbread i ever tasted. Even tried greens for the first time. Place isnt much to look at, but if youre hungry, they will fill you up. Not in the best part of town, but some with a smile and a love for bbq and you will be welcomed.

Maybe we ordered the wrong thing on the Menu but the tips are mostly dry its just horrible. The sauce are too thin and watery2 orders and pretty much just threw it away. The greens are so salty with big hunk of fat on it just ended up in the garbage too. They forgot the cornbread, Potato salad is the only thing thats descent in this meal. Highly disappointed and waste of money.

Im lost for words, because this food was so bad. The ribs are rubbery and they were served in a pool of grease and bbq sauce. It reminded me of hospital food. I cant believe how bad it was. Im surprised at all of the people giving this place 5 stars. I guess the sandwiches are better. The ribs are horrible. I wish I could post a picture of the ribs on here.

Fantastic, my son and I had chopped pork sandwich and ribs and could only eat about half the portions were so big, some of the best I have ever had and I am from the Memphis area where all the BBQ is pretty good. Its top notch for sure, if there are better ribs in Little Rock I have not had them.

I had the ribs, sausage links and beef brisket. I would give the beef brisket 2 stars, the sausage 3 stars & the ribs 3.5 stars. The cole slaw & potato salad tasted like store bought. The place was clean & workers friendly. I would eat there again for the ribs.

Great food, great service... Only complaint is the Sweet Potato Pie its good but not great it seams to be store bought not home made like the sides. The sides are amazing, the greens, barbeque bake beans and potato salad all where great. All for a great price.

The group had tips and shreded pork all of it was fantastic! To the lady that complained about the watery sauce, that is the style of sauce they use. It has an awesome taste ! Sweet potato pie was fantastic!

Sims is old school BBQ and unlike any place else in the area. The bbq sauce is a vinegar based sauce with a real bite to it. The neighborhood is a little rough, but the food is worth it. :)

I love Woman and I eat there quite a bit. Sometimes it is good and sometime it is just ok. Today it was ok the service was good. But some of the rims were tough, and the sausage was greasy,

This local institution has one of the best pit masters in the country. Went for lunch, we sampled everything, and it was excellent. This place is a top 5 in the US for BBQ!

We loved it. Delicious! The BBQ sauce has a vinegar base which is runnier but delicious! Definitely recommend. Neighborhood was a little shady but worth it!

Hands down my favorite place for bbq in Little Rock. This has been around since the early 80s. They have the best bbq sauce and beef brisket.

Amazing BBQ tucked away just south of downtown Little Rock. So good tour groups can be found stopping by every Saturday.

I worried the move from the original building would hurt the food or the atmosphere. It didnt. I love Sims dearly.

Not baby back ribs, they were spare ribs, waitress didnt know. Over priced for spare ribs, flavor was mediocre.
