Horrible. Being from Montana all I heard was good things about this place. The place looks like it could use a bit of a face lift. That is besides the point. The young red headed girl at the counter gave us reservations from the start. She could not answer our simple questions and had to go to the back to ask someone for an answer. She was totally unsure of anything. Then we find out a lady had ordered for 60 people and they could not find her order. This lady ended up being there a long time waiting. Nobody who worked there, I noticed 3, seemed to have any clue of what was going on. It was a mess. We finally order and pay over $27. That was for a $15 plate, a baked potato and 2 teas. When we got the plate, there was barely any meat on it, at all. The beans were not that warm, cheese on the baked potato was not melted, and they did not give us a sandwich bun which was requested. It was a fiasco just trying to get one. We asked about the red head about the amount of meat and in typical fashion, the young red head had no answer. By the time we left, there were a lot of customers backed up waiting in line. Bottom line: the food was good, but the service was absolutely horrible and the food was over priced. I was so excited about trying this place out. Very disappointed. It was a joke. Btw, this was today, Dec 24, 2016.

I was visiting from Baja, Mexico and researched the best BBQ around and The Whole Hog keep coming up and several folks around town comfirmed this. Sadly my lunch was a HUGE mistake! I ordered the brisket jumbo sandwich which came on sofr mushy bun that begin tearing with the first bite and the meat well that aint brisket my friends more like roast beef. No taste, no smoke flavor, no bark. Just very thinly sliced roast beef- what a shame. This was the supposed to be a treat for our family as i told everyone how good this was going to be. Brisket is usually sliced as cross cut strips form the whole roast with bark on the ends. There was no aromas in the rest. either. The place was nice inside buy sadly lacking. The ribs looked good on other folks plates. Dont order the brisket sandwich!

Best BBQ in Conway, hands down. Nothing else even comes close. Heck, its one of the best places in general to eat in Conway - period. The baby back ribs are so good they should be illegal. They make a grown man weep lol. Same goes for the baked beans. The pulled pork and brisket are also both very excellent. If I could afford it I would eat here everyday! The only bad thing (if you can call it that) I have to say is that I wish they served alcohol. A tasty cold beer would go so well with the food. Get a liquor license please!!

This is one of three BBQ restaurants in Arkansas that I actually enjoy their food. The staff are very friendly and nice. I typically get something with the sliced brisket (they do not offer chopped) and my husband gets ribs. Ive also had the pulled pork, pulled chicken, and chicken quarter. The brisket consistently meets my expectations (the stuffed potato is extremely large, so the price is appropriate). The chicken quarter is a little too "smoke flavored" for me, but Ive enjoyed it several times anyway.

I have travel all over this country and I love good BBQ, but I am very disapointed. I got a combo meat plate with pulled pork and brisket. My sides was potato salad and cole slaw. The cole slaw had way to much pepper and the potato salad was way off. It seemed to have to much dill in it. Now the brisket was so think it wasnt even any flavor to it. My pulled pork was dry and u could tell it had been threw several cold down and reheat stages. Will not return!!

Ordered 1/2 rack ribs.baked beans and potato salad. Beans and potato salad very good. Ribs dry and so much salt that it is sickining. Will not make this mistake again, no Whole Hog for me ever. Dont waste your money like I did. I even told the cahsier that the ribs were too salty to eat and she said she was sorry and others had been complaining about them for a while. Didnt offer a refund either. Gary Waits

The food was just ok, they do not have many side like no fries , the salad was pitiful pricing on menu fair, was there at 7pm and they were out of tea both sweet and un sweet would not make any more, they girl at counter was rude from the start , building was old and in need of update , bathroom was also in need of update stale doors would not close. I would not recommend this place.

Okay, obviously Whole Hog a lot strengths. The pulled pork and ribs are first rate. Be cautioned though. The smoked sausage is profoundly mediocre and an otherwise awesome atomosphere is nearly ruined by an annoying, screeching PA system. Overall though it is worth suffering the drawbacks. The BBQ sauce six-pack selections means you should be able to find your perfect sauce.

I love this place! I have been coming to this location for years and have always had the best experience with customer service and food. The ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, and cole slaw are my favorites! Over the last several years Ive tried it all and have not been disappointed with anything!

Food is great. Beef brisket is one of the best on the menu. The restaurant is very rundown, and the bathrooms are a little lacking, probably because it was the original bathrooms of the previous restaurant. (It was an old Dennys/Western Sizzlin type.) If youre looking for great bbq, its the place!

I enjoy the variety of BBQ sauces and their descriptions. The sauce is what makes the BBQ! Their potato salad is among the best I have ever had. Portions are just right and the counter server was very friendly. If this were a full service restaurant, I would have liked it even more.

Every time we visit Conway AR we eat at this place. The food is great and the staff are friendly. I dont really care for potato salad but I eat theirs. Very affordable too. Oh i try not to eat there at the later part of the day cause the food (meat) seems to be a bit drier...

My family absolutely loves Whole Hog in Conway. You can tell they go to great lengths to provide quality food to their patrons. I can tell they spend extra time on the meat to make sure it is top quality. We also like the variety of sauces. It is a great place to eat.

First time eating here. Took my BBQ breathe away. I work in a customer service industry and the take my order girls were funny and kind. I didnt get the cooks name but he was a cool cool guy as well and I will definitely be back for more amazing BBQ soon. A+++

Consistently good food. Only complaint is (at the time of this review) they dont have Thursday beef ribs like the north little rock/Sherwood location. Id suggest getting one if the platters with a bit of everything. If you like spice go for the volcano sauce.
