I walked down to Ciaos from BCBS today for lunch. This was my first time there. I had the Cheese Manicoti, Lobster Bisk, and vanilla bean gelato. The total for my meal ran 13 dollars plus tip. The service and food was impeccable. My water glass never fell below half full. I was greated and seated very polietly. My questions were answered promptly as well. Ciaos seems to stick to a strictly Italian menu; which is a good thing in my opinion. I have a picture of one of their menus and Ill upload it later. The only cons I have found so far is the atmosphere. I think that in order to move to the next level; ciaos must increase their atmosphere. The chairs were an eyesore, while the building itself was unkept and poorly maintained. The building could not be the responsibility of Ciaos, but should be kept up regardless. I will continue to review as I continue to go. I plan on trying them out for dinner some time as well, and will review my dinner experience. Overall great service, but still has some room to grow! Thanks! marcus

A friend suggested this as a good lunch spot. I love Italian food so decided to give it a try. Atmosphere was good and our waiter was friendly and prompt. We started with the Lobster Bisque and it was so greasy that there were grease spots floating at the top. It was very runny and not creamy at all. The rolls they gave us were soggy. I ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and the flavor of the sauce was good but had tons of garlic and my chicken was IMITATION chicken and very rubbery. I had to pick it out of my dish, it was so gross. My friend ordered the Meatball Lasagna which was supposedly the daily special but when she took a bite into a meatball it was as cold as ice. Nothing is made fresh here. I was very disappointed in this place and I hope they try cooking with fresh ingredients in the future. I will not return and you would be wise to go elsewhere.

I hate to write a negative review on a place that has potential, but I wish others had been more honest in their reviews. The place has sticky carpet, a makeshift bar, glass tabletop covers and business cards inviting you to follow them on Twitter (which only gets updated once a month) and to be their friend on Facebook. The service was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. The food looked great, was prepared well but came to the table with inconsistent temperature and was overly seasoned. When we asked for the check the server asked if we had any "promotions." This might be a great place to grab some pasta for a quick business lunch, but if youre looking for a great dinner in Little Rock, look elsewhere. If youre the owner, I will be glad to provide suggestions and constructive criticism in much more detail.

This is literally the first time in my life Ive left a negative review. I tend to be a gonzo warrior for positive reviews even when theres little to compliment, but I feel cheated. I ordered lunch via Chef Shuttle and paid $5.99 for a slice of key lime pie literally 1.5" wide at the crust, not to mention the chewy, cold, congeled fettuccine Alfredo (maybe it was better warm; I know Chef Shuttle is slow). The garlic bread was cold (again, CS being slow likely to blame) but delicious. Maybe you should only order here in person, not via Chef Shuttle. I cant believe I paid $30 for food I cant eat and a slice of pie too small to be a childs portion.

One of our favorite restaurants in the city. We make it a point to come whenever we have a free night. Favorite dish is probably the crab cakes with the pesto sauce, and a cup of mushroom bisque, but any of the steak filet preparations are amazing, and I have to give a shout to the mushroom ravioli for being the best Ive ever had. Becky and crew are great people, and we always get white glove service from them all. If you want good food that doesnt break the bank, but will win you date of the month trophy from your significant other, look no further than Ciao.

The reviews on here are so misleading. We went there on a Saturday night when visiting Little Rock. First off, we made a reservation, but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table. The place was packed, so I thought that meant itd be worth the wait. It wasnt. Our server was serving an entire room of tables, so she basically ignored us. Ciao is severely understaffed. When she did stop by, she talked to us like we were children. Grating, annoying woman. Our food came out fast, and was OK, but not much better than bar food. Dont bother.

Ordered Crab Cake Caesar Salad and Marinara Tortellini . Crab cake was filled with TUNA meat, romaine lettice was wilted and soggy with brown spots, the roll on the salad and pasta had light gray mold on the bottom, marinara sauce was very bland as if straight from a can. Atmosphere came off as amateurish and unorganized with bobble heads in the window but tables were formally dressed and waiters wore t-shirts and jeans. Overall disappointed in what I thought I was going to be a nice, authentic Italian meal.

ordered off of chef shuttle. had veal marsala and a salad. Gave hardly any dressing which i normally wouldnt complain about but i will in this case bc my entreee was awful. the veal marsala was just pllain bland. the veal was two little small dried up pieces of meat that had a taste similar to salsbury steak they would serve at a low end public school. and the marsala sauce was bland and seemed to completely separate from the soggy mushy noodles. wont eat there again

My lady friend has been going to Ciao for years, she and I have gone regular for the last three years. We love this place, the setting, service, food, very cozy. Dont know what happen, but our last three trips have been bad. Last night was the last straw, the food had the taste of lemons in everything, she had the veal and I had the jumbo shrimp. We where both very sadden that our favorite little Italian restaurant was not the great Ciao we grew to love.

Great family-owned restaurant. Service, food quality, menu variety are all top notch. Not your cookie-cutter place like the national chains. Very good for business lunches, or dinner. Ive never had even one unsatisfactory meal there. My wife is addicted to their crab cakes, but there could be worse things! The owner, Becky, always greets everyone with her beautiful smile and genuine warmth. Our favorite place.

Server was prompt and friendly. The appetizer was good (fried ravioli). The Entrée (Alfredo fettuccine )was terrible. It was very dry so I asked the waiter to bring some more sauce but the sauce was bland and tasteless.Very disappointed I will never go there again.Oh and the chicken used there is the cheapest kind you get from SAMs (Tyson grilled chicken) The already grilled chicken very gross ewwww.

FABULOUS !!! I have never enjoyed a meal more. The service was awesome, could not have asked for a more friendly server. Between all parties we had, Crab Cakes, Meatballs, Ravioli and all were excellent. I am very disappointed that I have lived in Little Rock for 10 years and never visited here before.
