I ate carryout from here recently with my husband. There is a problem with the carryout, which is why Im writing this review. I cross my fingers that the company may fix this, because otherwise, their food is spectacular! The food is great; tastes spot on! We tried an assortment of ravioli, manicotti, spaghetti and meatball sub, and their salad (with house dressing) and breadsticks. The food is excellent! HOWEVER! The plastic containers...are bad. They kept the food nice and hot, yes! BUT the food wreaked of melted/hot plastic (though, nothing was actually melted, you see). It was really odd! Then, worst of all, as you got to the food directly touching the plastic, you could taste it! It was awful. Me and my husband both had this problem. So, wed eat there in person, but would not get carryout; unless their containers get changed. This was so odd, but that hot plastic really spoiled the taste of the food.

First time visiting Queen City Deli. Definitely a Mom & Pop Italian deli style eatery. The decor is needing some attention but overall a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Person that took my order was helpful and friendly. I had the Parrinos Special with a side of fries- wonderful sandwich! Big portions- could have taken the other half home but it was so good I went ahead and finished it off. Great restaurant- looking forward to visiting again soon.

Well worth the five star rating and 1000 times more! We stopped in on our way back to Indiana looking for a Reuben. Although they were out of sour kraut and I was left to order the meatball sandwich and the baked ravioli, this was the best sandwich and ravioli weve ever had! Delicious, filling, fast, and friendly! Go here! If youre going for the Reuben, call ahead!!

I love this place. I love the food, the price and the atmosphere. I used to come here a lot but Im giving it 3 stars because even though everything is great...theres a man that works there that always seems to give me attitude. Id recommend it especially for the food, just dont expect a smile

I eat here all the time... absolutely love it! The burns sandwich is out of this world, simple yet so well done! Love the house salad, love their soups.. have you ever had Italian meatloaf... sometimes on special, so good! I will forever love this place!

This is one of the best lunch locations in Springfield. Great environment. There are a large array of sides and drinks that you wouldnt be able to choose from at most sub shops.
