Red Lobster Scottsdale and General Manager have no CLUE how to handle a minor issue or deliver even sub par customer service!!!!!!!!!!!! The resort my family and I stayed at in Scottsdale gave us a $100 voucher for specific restaurants in the area. Red Lobster was not only listed as one, but we called prior to going to triple check. The woman on the phone explained that there was a recent change in ownership, but that Red Lobster would honor the vouchers until August 1st. This is the ONLY reason we went to Red Lobster. The food was sub par at BEST. The $11.49 "meal add-on" of king crab leg consisted of 2 small legs that tasted terrible, and the sirloin was chewy, cooked completely wrong, and impossible to cut. When it came time to pay, our waitress Patty came back with the check and told us they didnt accept the $100 voucher. We explained that literally two hours ago we called to make sure and were told that they did. The manager came back with not much to say other than "um well" and "theres not much we can do..." without looking us in the eye- didnt seem like a very functioning restaurant manager, coming from someone who has had many years experience in the business. We politely told him that not only was his restaurant listed as one that accepted the voucher, but that we were explicitly guaranteed that the voucher would be honored not more than two hours prior by one of his employees. He walked away to "see what he can do". Roughly 10min later, the waitress came back and silently took the rest of our payment which was cash. After that, we sat for over 30 MINUTES waiting for response until we realized that they were literally just going to let us sit there wondering if they were going to accept the vouchers or not. Once we realized this we left- as the manager watched us walk out, we knew our suspicions were true. The most awkward and unprofessional experience at a "nice" restaurant Ive ever experienced. Come to Red Lobster for overpriced, low quality food, and make sure you hit up the Scottsdale location for the dysfunctional 0% customer service management!

This was VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! This was my first visit to Red Lobster. I had two visitors from Europe staying at my house, and they wanted sea food. I called ahead for a 6:30PM table; we showed up at 6:29PM only to be seated at 6:39PM... Our waiter never introduced himself; he didnt ask "is this your first visit to Red Lobster?" nor did he welcome us to Red Lobster. He never told us the daily specials.. We got our drink orders in, got our beers - and then we were left waiting for 20 minutes before our waiter came back to take our order. My guests both ordered the full "New Orleans Salmon". One plate came out with only a 5oz piece of fish.... I ordered a sirloin and a lobster tail. The sirloin was OK, but why not offer tenderloin..?! Also: what seafood restaurant doesnt offer Béarnaise sauce..?!! The lobster tail was a SAD SAD story! It was a total of 4 bites of lobster. I also ordered a side Lobster Mashed Potatoes which was TERRIBLE! Compared to Maestros City Hall or Steak 44 which are great restaurants in Phoenix, this was like bad cafeteria food! The Lobster Mash was drenched in butter, and I could only eat one bite. At no point during our visit did our waiter come and ask how our food was. 2 of us ran out of beer, and it took our waiter 25 minutes(!) to return to our table to ask if we needed "anything else" - at which point we ordered 2 more beers, which took 5 minutes to arrive. When cleaning off the table our waiter noticed my untouched serving of "Lobster Mashed Potatoes" aka melted butter with mashed-up potatoes and some lobster pieces, and asked if I wanted something else ... to go with my empty plate...?!?!?! At no point during our visit did a restaurant manager stop by to check on us to see how we were doing, to welcome us, not to thank us... I am sad that I took my European visitors to Red Lobster; Im embarrassed!!! For me dining is not about price but about quality, and this was the WORST value-for-money I have ever experienced

My husband and I went there last night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We dont get to go out on a "date" alone together very often. We were seated promptly, and our waiter Mike greeted us just a few minutes later. He asked us if we were there for any special occasion and we told him that it was our 10th wedding anniversary, and if he would please bring us our drinks and wait a little while to order our food, he said "no problem, this is a very special night for you two." He brought us our drinks was very attentive, but not hovering, just checking in and letting us have our time together. (We have a 13 year old daughter at home, so we were really enjoying just talking and listening to each other, lol) Any way he was super great, made our night extra special, the food was awesome. To top it all off they brought us cake with a candle and told us to make a wish together. When he brought us our bag and containers to take home our left overs, he had written on the bag. 2 interlocking hears and "Happy 10th Anniversary" My husband and I have both been in the restaurant business for many years and know what good service is and this was GREAT service!! I even asked to speak to the manager before we left just to tell him what a great time we had and how great Mike was, and I dont do that very often. Thank you again everyone for a wonderful evening, great food and great service! We will be back, and we will be asking for Mike. :)

Started out alright, seated quickly. Restaurant is dimly lit which is not a problem if done right but it wasnt here. Not a big deal if the food and series are good. Neither was the case today. Waitress took order. Got burger off lunch menu. Asked for it well done. Waitress never asked me what kind of cheese -- I didnt want any. Got a medium well burger with cheese. Waitress never asked if we wanted desert. Dropped off the bill and then didnt come check on us for a good 15 minutes because she was too busy chatting with her coworkers. Will not be visiting this Red Lobster again.

Decided that for lunch we wanted to go for some seafood. Decided that we would go to this red lobster because it was close to us. We were seated and sat there for 15 min. No one came over to ask our order or to see if we wanted drinks. We saw three waiters sing happy birthday to someone else and then disappear. More customers were seated and they stated taking their order right after they sat down. Still no one came over to help us. We got up and left. They didnt care. I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone.

This afternoon meal was delightful. Only thing I would change is the room in my stomach. There just wasnt enough room for all the amazing spicy shrimp & crab legs. Ashley is the best worker. You can usually find her working her magic at the bar. Her helpers Raini & Jessica are just as awesome. These 3 make up for a great team. Because of them, we keep coming back for more RL.
