What a disappointment. Ambience was good and service was excellent. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce was really bland. Honestly, it tasted like the only two ingredients were tomato paste and sugar. No signs of herbs fresh or otherwise-not even pepper or garlic. How can you run an Italian restaurant with a less that mediocre marinara? Chicken parmesan also very bland. The gnocchi were good and tender. However, next time we have a taste for Italian, well drive to Magiannos.

April 2016 - this Restaurant is one of our absolute favorites, and theres a lot in N.Scottdale to choose from. The ambiance is wonderful, with soft background music not noisy or loud. I ordered the Grilled Vegetable Salad & my husband had the Antipasto salad, both wonderful, neither of us able to eat the whole thing. Service was 5 star. This Restaurant ranks in our favorite top 3, and we just keep coming back ! Trip #6

They burnt one side of my veal, covered in sauce to hide it ... I showed them --- the server didnt offer to make me a new dish and my hubbys chicken was dry ... We go out to eat a lot, but Never here again!

Every time I visit Nicks I get a weird feel from the staff and patrons. Also, I feel sick even though the food is tasty. Not sure whats up but I will not be back.

This was my first, but not last, time dining at Nicks. The place had a home-y feel to it, and the service and food was stellar. Try the eggplant appetizer!
