We celebrated my wifes birthday here but the celebration was spoiled by poor service and poorer quality food. My wifes dish was the Filet Mignon with Brown Sauce. When my wife mentioned to the Maitre D that the steak and sauce was tasteless, he suggested she put soy sauce on it (which we only had at the table because I had to get up and get it from the wait station). I dont spend $20 on a Filet to put soy sauce on it. Then she discovered that the steak she had ordered rare was actually half past well-done. I ordered the Grand Marnier Shrimp. I asked for a minor substitute of one rice for another but was told by the waiter that that was not possible without extra charge but is available on the lunch menu gratis. The Maitre D was equally unaccommodating - his attitude was dismissive. The shrimp was supposed to have a Grand Marnier cream sauce but there was very little of it and I found myself mopping the plate to find enough to "wet" the shrimp. The broccoli was cold on both dishes. The waiter was nice but inept...no refills of water and basic Chinese condiments not on the table. If you want consistent, well-prepared Chinese fare, try Flos. The service is friendly, gracious, and accommodating.

I thought the food was great but the service was below par. granted I was alone but the server forgot about me and I had to ask for everything. I was served the chips during my meal and I had to ask for duck sauce and water refills. But once again food was good so hoping it was just a one time things of bad service. I had the rice soup which was good and the lettuce wraps was exceptional! General tso was good as well just wish that I had the option to upgrade to fried rice with the meal instead of having to order a side of it. I wouldnt have minded to upgrade for like 3 bucks but not an option.the brown rice was bland and hard not enjoyable

I have been to both Jade Palaces - the one at Pinnacle Peak and the one at Shea. Both locations are well-run; have delicious dishes; and impeccable service. With so many dishes to choose from, it is perfect that they make it easy to share dishes among ones table-mates. The service is unobtrusive but present at all times. The restaurants are clean, neat, classically designed. They are not noisy so conversation at ones table is actually possible for everyone without yelling over the music or din. That is why I picked it for our Luncheon gathering! A great place to get together with friends.

Dear Mr. Schenker, I have a sister who lives there and loves Jade Palace. I also know that Christmas Day is ridiculous volume and in order to accommodate the demand of people coming, the restaurant costs so much more to operate. In order for Jade Palace, who also have family and would prefer to spend time at home like we all do, they open as a favor to their clientele. Hope you can see this point and will not judge them negatively as a result of this 1 day issue. If you go to any other "American" restaurant, check out their "special holiday pricing". Robert

It is shocking that Scottsdale has so many amazing restaurants yet no good Chinese restaurants EXCEPT Jade Palace. This is the best in AZ. All the ingredients are top notch and fresh. Every dish is prepared at a NYC 5 star level. Crispy Sea Bass is their best dish. I have never had anything quite like it. Their spare ribs and egg rolls are to die for on the appetizer menu. The staff is gourmet quality. The place is beautiful. One down side is the menu is a little bit pricey compared to the competition but you definitely get what you pay for.

Weve been enjoying the fabulous food & service from this location for years now and have no clue what this SS SS lady is whining about? I read her other reviews and if someone catches her on a bad day - look out! She always says "Buyer Beware" as if the place is purposely trying to nail you. Her insulting attitude is totally uncalled for at our favorite Chinese Food restaurant. And if I ever own a restaurant, please dont come there Miss SS.

(Shea Location) Food and service are substandard and has significantly declined throughout the past several years. Management is unprofessional and rude toward customers and fail to take ownership for issues related to service, food, and/or carry out. Additionally, numerous customer reviews on multiple web sites share a common theme of ongoing unacceptable customer service and poor quality food. DINERS BEWARE!!

I am from Boston, we have GREAT Chinese food out there. I as well as my family pretty much gave up on Chinese food here in AZ, being disappointed place after place. I was dragged to the Jade Palace and was completely caught off guard! This place is my second home, the staff is great and friendly and food is of excellent quality, and i dare to say better than Boston! ; ) Jade Palace is the best in town!

Came here for Valentines Day and TO THIS DAY it has been one of the greatest nights of my entire life. Me and my fiancé had the time of our life, having drinks with another lovely couple and the owner at the bar, the food was delicious, and I couldnt have had a better time. It is hands down my best restaraunt experience and I would come back here until the walls drop.

Best Chinese food around. Very pricey, but quality ingredients. Ive become so used to greasy Chinese food drowned in high fructose corn syrup and corn starch that the good here was shockingly refreshing. Szechuan Eggplant with a side of tofu is a great choice. I also reccomend the wonton soup and steamed dumplings!

Fantastic, delicious. The first new dish I tried is the Grand Marinar Shrimp the sauce was great. The second is my "go to dish" Shrimp (or chicken) with broccoli a big YUMMY. The Wor Won Ton soup is another personal favorite, hard to find here in AZ but Jade Palace has it. Thank you!!

Delicious Chinese cuisine in an stunning atmosphere. I am always surprised as to how great this food is being outside the NY area. The service is impeccable and the portions are totally sufficient. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great Chinese meal at reasonable prices.

Perfect chinese especially for out of towners.. Aside from kung-pao chicken not being as hot as expected. . The fried rice was great and the egg roles not only will put you in a food comma, Im giving them a solid 8 out of 10 . Not to mention the customer service was A-1!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!! We order take out, and the food was terrible, except the dumplings, which were average. The ribs were dry, and all of the food was extremely greasy. We had indigestion the whole night. I had better Chinese food at the Panda Express.

Absolutely awful. Phone staff is rude. Delivery is outsourced and you are double charged. They will not take payment by phone for a carryout. They are horrible to deal with and the food isnt that good! Dont waste your time or money.

We have been going to Francos for several years on a regular basis. Having grown up on my grandmothers old world Italian cooking, Francos takes me back to the same delicious flavors and warm family feelings that I remember at home.
