I went in with my one year old daughter to celebrate my wedding anniversary even though my husband passed away recently. The hostess was nice and right after I sat down the bus boy came around with a water for my daughter and myself. She colored and was doing pretty well. I was looking at the menu for a while because a lot looked good to me and I was trying to decide what to get and was going to ask the waitress what she thought. Im the type of person that will get many things so I can taste them all and just take home the rest for later. We finished our waters. As I waited I noticed the waitress go to all the tables around me. There was more than one person helping so I thought maybe there was more than one waitress or maybe just a helper since I was at a half booth against the wall with tables on each side of mine. I noticed she helped a couple sharing the booth two tables down (who got there after I did) and they already had wine. I figured maybe she wanted to give me a minute and since I sat there a bit with my menu open I decided to close it so she would know I was ready to order. My daughter started getting a little impatient and fussy. I thought maybe less time passed than I thought because toddlers are at that demanding stage. No, that wasnt the case. It had been over 45 minutes. I waited until I could see the waitress to try and say something but every time she came near my table she would run off before I could say anything. I started thinking maybe she wasnt my waitress until after the group of people sharing my booth on the other side left and a new group came in. She went up to them right away, the couple on the other side of me, also sharing my booth, looked at me as if they were going to say something. I thought about saying something to her but I was too upset at that point with a toddler who was getting upset about sitting still and still no food, so I got up told the hostess that seated me that the waitress never said anything to me and that I was leaving. I probably reacted more emotionally than I normally would, but I seriously doubt I would even want to have her as a waitress not to mention numerous workers that walked around and made eye contact with me. I was feeling pretty emotional and at one point started tearing up so I was also probably not as aggressive as Id normally be about getting someones attention but I shouldnt have to tell a waitress she went to every table except mine and didnt even bother to say one thing to me. Either way, the food looked good but the service was so horrible I never got to try anything and will most likely never go back.

I have to say I was pretty disappointed. I have eaten at the Scottsdale location and it was wonderful, so I was very excited when they opened near me in Chandler. I wanted the delicious sea food risotto that I had in Scottsdale, but they were only serving it with shrimp. So I ordered the shrimp risotto and the portion was so skimpy we couldnt believe it. My husband ordered the same thing, and we got 6 shrimp (not large )each, with not very much risotto for $18.00 each. We also ordered a large $14.00 salad to share and thank goodness we did. My husband asked for bread and they brought us 4 slices of COLD bread with no butter;, so he had to ask for butter, which was hard as a rock. Definitely not worth the money for such a skimpy portion, and my husband had to stop and eat something on our way home. Dont know about their other dishes, but dont order the risotto. I am a small eater and it was not enough for me.

Sometimes you are just caught off guard by great service and quality in something as simple as a lunch. I met my wife to grab a quick bite today at around 2:30 pm so well after the lunch rush, when many places are closed and the staff, if still there, is not real happy to be working...Our waiter Danny could not have been better and just had a great attitude and was so willing to help. I had the Milan Salmon dish (sorry I didnt take a pic because the kitchen really did a nice presentation) and it was fantastic....simple vegetables over several grilled asparagus spears and then perfectly cooked salmon on top and with a glass of Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc as suggested by Danny...My wife had the Ceasar salad , which was great and the we did finish with the cinnamon knots....just a few but enough...Cappucinos were Lavazza and great...All in all, just a solid lunch, simple, tasty and a very pleasant surprise!

Visited this establishment yesterday for dinner with my girlfriend and were quickly greeted and taken to our table where our server immediately introduced herself and brought us iced cold water as we decided over our drinks of which we chose a glass of red wine and a dirty martini. These two drinks were brought out in just minutes and the martini was absolutely on key. The bartender was definitely experienced in handling the crowd and efficiently making everyones drinks. We ordered the smoked salmon tower and the calamari which we both agreed were delicious. We ordered our dinner which was the fruitti di mare and pesci e gamberetti with salmon. This dish was incredible. They both were!! I would absolutely without a doubt go back and take friends with me as well as highly recommended this restaurant to friends and family. This is one of my new restaurants!!

70th Birthday Celebration for 100% Italian Mother-In Law. She loved it! Everyone in our family of 20 LOVED THE FOOD! From the Caprese salad, to the Over the top Bruschetta(recommend the fig!), Pasta, Sausage and Meatballs, Chicken Marsala & the Spinach Raviolis all were delicious! For deserts we had Cheese Cake, Tiramisu and the Mini Cannolis. All Fantastic! To accommodate our group, we ordered platters and had them split up among our tables. Worked out great. They rearranged the tables so we sat in a U shape. This allowed us to easily see everyone and easier to get up and mingle. Our waitress Alyssa & the Manager Quinn were both fantastic and very accommodating! Thank You S&V for a great meal & great atmosphere to celebrate an incredible woman. We absolutely recommend anyone out there to celebrate their next event at S&V.

I hosted a bridal shower at S & V and I was extremely impressed by the service. Sheena, Edden, and Jon were awesome. They went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect and the party went smoothly, including changing locations within the restaurant twice during the planning process because I couldnt quite make up my mind. Besides the service, the food was absolutely AMAZING. All the guests at the party loved it and I was repeatedly asked "So how did you find this place?" because they were so impressed! I would absolutely recommend it for anyone planning a party or event, or just for lunch or dinner, because the food is great and reasonably priced.

My fiance and I LOVE to eat here. We were skeptical at first because the reviews were all over the place. The portions are what they should be, the food and service has always been great! Take it as a good then when there is a wait and you cant get in right away, I think that says something about this little tucked away gem! I would definitely recommend eating here. The majority of mixed reviews we read complained of waiting a long time for food and such....this isnt a McDonalds and people need to learn to be patient. The whole part of the Stone and Vine experience is the chill atmosphere! Sit back and relax!
