Showed up about 1:30pm on a Tuesday , did not get a greating, a hello, or anything. I was told by the only employee behind the bar, after I walked up to her, to get a menu and find a seat, and if i wanted anything, to come back to the bar and order it. Tryed to order a drink but the bartender was so preoccupied with the other three guest at the bar, actually in the whole place, we couldnt get ANY attention..... I was told to walk over to her so she could place my order at the P.O.S. system that was convenient for the server, and grabed some beers in plastic cups. I was summoned to get my food with a buzzer, retrived it and had to also get me and my guests our own plateware, silverware and napkins too! Was eatting my boring cheese curds and overcooked chicken appetizers and then had to stop and get my lunch for myself and the 2 people that accompanied me. Food was what it was, (a 2 outta 10) and the bartender never came over once, not even to drop off a bill! I had to get that myself also! Wtf people? You are in the hospitality business, you need to learn how to do it and most importantly how to SERVE PEOPLE... I did 95% of her job, all she did was take our order and money, needless to say, she received 0.00 tip and I wont waste anymore time or anymore energy on this place or subject. Complete disappointment!

Really wish I could give this place a better review, love the atmosphere its absolutely wonderful and the idea of everything with the campfires just great!!! But the service, talk about horrible!!! Ive gone 3 times....had the same server that was so rude and wouldnt even refill my drink and asked me to go do it myself.....took 2 hours to get a table than the waitress took 15 mins just to come take a drink order, then 35 mins to come back for a food order and than an hour till the food came out and not even my whole table of food would come out most times I would finish the main course before getting my side of fries.... just seems like a whole lot of wasted time and unprepared. The food was decent, burgers have seemed Dry and no flavor personally(I understand some may like it that way), chicken tenders are extreamly good but when it says 8oz expect 5 extreamly small little crunches and spend 11 dollars on it. It has a lot of potential of being a wonderful place! Just plan a lot of extra time and dont go on a empty stomach expecting to eat :)

This is a must visit for anyone who loves country western atmosphere and the pioneer spirit wrapped in a profound reverence for the ideas that founded our great Nation and the U.S. Constitution as you will find quotes from the founding fathers and the founding documents all over the place celebrating Liberty! The setting is that of an old west fort/Spanish mission. The main restaurants and other out buildings form a circle at the heart of which is an outdoor courtyard where they have picnic tables many of which have a fire pit next to them and they provide the wood free! A dance floor and stage for live music. You MUST go on Sundays from 6 to 9pm to hear LEE ALEXANDER sing country and western songs both new and old and take requests. By the way the food is fantastic and you must try the potato pancakes.

Im from Kansas City where we are known for our steaks. This was my first time to San Tan Flat, and I was pleasantly surprised with everything about the place. Great Atmosphere and Great Food! I read some of the negative reviews and wondered if we were even at the same place. I ordered the Rib Eye and I can truthfully say I have not had a steak this good at any of the current top steak houses in Kansas City. I felt the food was very reasonably priced, and the service was good. But what I was really impressed with was the western atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Those Bar-B-Q barrels on the patio were a great idea. I have a friend from Phoenix who has never been here. I cant wait to introduce her to a great eating experience thats right here in her own back yard.

I normally love this place. Went there tonight with someone from out of town, since it was a Steakhouse we decided to order steak. Ive always only ordered burgers here before but we decided to try the steak. We both ordered the ribeye steak, a $24.99 item from the menu. The first steak I got was well done when I ordered medium rare. My family members Steak was also ordered medium rare and was well done but he didnt want to send it back. I however did send it back, the second one came out, medium well. It really wasnt good and the quality of the steak was more on the Applebees/chilis level. We were really disappointed to say the least. I will go back, I love the family friendly atmosphere but I will never order anything more than a burger from now on. Lesson learned.

I heard so many good things about this place, then I went there and was very disappointed. Me and my family shares zucchini sticks those were good, my wife had a mushroom and swiss burger and had no flavor. It seem like they use no salt and pepper at all cooking, my kids shared a cheeseburger and the same with theirs. I had the flat iron steak and the steak was cooked way over medium rare. For a place that you have to order at a window for your food and go get it when its done and get your own drinks, so youre pretty much serving yourself. And we paid $45, to me thats a little overpriced and Im sad to say we will not be going back.

San Tan Flatts is a great place to take family. Family from out of town, and family that wants to have a nice night out. I wouldnt recommend going in the summer, especially if you are looking to eat outside or by the firepits and dance floor. But, if you want go in the winter, in the evening, you will have the timeof your life. Live bands, great food, nice sized dance floor, and plenty of fire pits and tables to hold at least 300+ people. we went to a diner there for John McCain and Sheriff Paul Babeu, It was packed, but we still where able to get food and drinks without a problem and quickly. It was a night to remember!

Dont order steak. No matter how you order it they will crucify it EVERY TIME. And, most importantly if you complain it will be your fault. If you ask to see a manager they will try to tell you that on a Friday night they dont have a manager available. (What?) if you persist the will ask you to leave. It is a great place to bring guests to but you will watch them eat, then they will watch you eat after you have to send back your steak back. This has happened on the last 4 times I went there. The most they will do is over cook your steak again while your friends eat. I wish that I liked well done steak for $20.
