The experience was pleasantly mind boggling the whole way through: How can a buffet restaurant make such a wide variety of amazingly high quality food, and charge a person such a surprisingly decent price? I love buffets--and I expect a certain level of corner cutting due the very nature of them. The Red Wok buffet is an unusual exception to this: most food items that I tried were absolutely fantastic. I actually found myself taking a moment to savor the flavor and texture of several of the offerings instead of mindlessly stuffing my face. As far as "Chinese" buffets, I do look for sushi to be on the menu (ironically). The sushi here was not the best ever, but why should it be? The rice was a bit dry, the wasabi a bit mild, and the selection nothing to write home about, but it was definitely satisfying, and certainly seeing it on the menu was one of the main reasons I walked through the front door in the first place. Perhaps the restaurant keeps it this way, to let their customers quickly scratch that sushi itch and then move on to the main items that really crown this restaurant as one of the best buffets in the valley: the meat dishes. Many meat dishes were presented, all on the scale of pleasant to spectacular. Beef, chicken, and seafood prepared in a plethora of ways fill display table after display table... One case in particular represented to me the skill/passion present in the cooking staff: the hibachi chicken and korean bbq chicken. They were right next to each other on the main course display and it seemed that both dishes were made from the same cuts of meat. Both were especially delicious and memorable not only because of the wonderful and distinctive flavors--but also in the differences in preparation: differences in tenderness, char, sauce thickness, and the decision to leave the skin on or take it off made gave each its own personality. The hibachi was slightly more firm, skinned, and finished with more char, which matched its tangy flavors, whereas the bbq was tender, skin-on, and in a thick dark savory sauce which I put over some of their fried rice. Absolutely. Positively. Delightful. I also was able to indulge my taste for "american food" (ambiguous term, but you know what I mean). The fresh pepperoni pizza was reminiscent of an (actually hot and ready) "hot-n-ready" from Little Caesars, which I was okay with. There were surprisingly nice french fries which I went back for seconds of. Popcorn shrimp and chicken nuggets I passed over as Im not a fan on the best of days. Mashed potatoes and gravy I also passed over for the same reason, but thats just me. The sheer number of high quality options here are staggering. At most buffets, I can try a bit of everything before Im stuffed beyond mobility. Here, I rationed stomach space and still did not even touch several highly seductive sections of the buffet at all, including what looked like a build-your-own stir fry, a request-a-grill, and the ice cream bar (which had real ice cream in those tubs you see at Baskin-Robbins). In retrospect, I literally just did the display tables and the sushi. There were also desserts and fruit, and I think I saw a salad bar as well. I was just so enamored by the items I mentioned that I was too full to try anything else. The experience was so on-point that I was moved to write this review several days after. Surprisingly though: I have been considering going back. Every day. Well, maybe every other day... Could I afford that? Would it be worth a few extra hours at the gym every week? Yknow, in all seriousness? Maybe it would, actually.

Disgusting and horrendous service. Got there for dinner time hardly any food ready to go. Got the first plate and it was not hot enough. The food was luke warm and not hot at all. Went back for the next plate and the same thing it was luke warm and lacked flavor and seasoning. The 3rd plate got breaded shrimp coconut shrimp and fried rice no flavor once again. At this point I went to speak to the manager. This guy at the register said I see what time you got here and its been 40 mins by this point he said and repeated himself 10 times 40 mins I cant give you your money back. So I said to him I am telling you when we got here there was hardly any food we had to wait to have what we wanted once we got it the food being right out of your kitchen was not hot enough. So then the "owner " comes out of the back and says he has the food out for 2 mins and it stays on 130-140 degree steam and that you cant keep it too hot because people dont enjoy it. I said I like a hot meal and this is going to make me sick which BTW I was vomiting as soon as I left there. The "owner" and "manager " started to speak their own language and I said excuse me Im not sure what you are saying but you need to speak in English Im not speaking a different language so please speak in English. The "manager " said why dont you be quiet so that he can explain since he doesnt know English well and sarcastically said ok thank you you are awesome in a jerk way.... all in all worst place Ive eaten at. I dont recommend this place to eat. They offered 1/2 of the $ 26 we spent. I would never go back.

Red Wok offered several hot dishes, but their teriyaki chicken and coconut shrimp were my favorites. They have the normal rice, lo mein, spring rolls, fried shrimp, crab puffs, etc. They also have hand rolls, fresh fruit, salad, cookies and cakes. Theres a Mongolian BBQ station, and at the carving board, they had Korean BBQ ribs and grilled steak. A great selection at a fair price; $10.99 for dinner, drink additional. A big plus for them, its very clean. Ive been to buffets that are lacking in this area, but Red Wok seems to keep things tidy. When we went, it was very busy, yet the floors, the buffet, and the restroom was all very clean. I like Chinese buffets, so I would definitely visit again, and if you like Chinese buffets, you should too.

Feb 24, 2014 1111kenk Great Chinese buffet. The front man is always friendly and gets you to the table as fast as possible. A big , well appointed restaurant. Very clean. The buffet has about 80 idems, sushi bar, BBQ grill and deserts. Health score not posted. I had a great salad 5 topping with ranch. (Very good). Next baked salmon, string beans, mushrooms (big). Killer veggie lo mane (2 helpings). The seafood delight was interesting if you like crab meat and cheese?? EGG Drop soup was good. All of this at dinner with a beverage $12.71. I will return to this restaurant next trip. On Traveling Trainer scale (1-10) this experience was a solid 8.5! Do go out of your way to eat at Red Wok. Be safe!

NEVER GO HERE!!!!!! My family didnt even finish eating 1 plate of food and my son needed to use the bathroom. He is 4 so I took him to the womens restroom with me. I walked in to all 3 stalls backed up and overflowing with feces and pee. Turned to walk out and noticed puke in the sink. I imidiatly went and told the workers and they acted like it was a normal thing and didnt even seem to care. We had to pay up front and did not bother asking for our money back we just walked out. Im disgusted for sure.
