This place, even before it was U-Like, has always been a tradition for my dad, brother, and I to go eat, and share good conversation over some pretty okay noodles. Today was Fathers Day. It only seemed fitting for us all to go eat there. Plus, my brother and I wanted to take care of the bill, in honor of dad. We knew the prices were quite reasonable. We sat down and enjoyed our food, and handed out gifts. Waiting for the bill, I gave my brother the grab-it-before-he-does look. As the waiter dropped off our check, we whispered and muffled some curses as the total came into view: $48.73. Holy [insert word] Him and I were very harshly immersed into the reality that "Fathers Day Special" isnt really that special. We were informed that there was a sign on the door that informed customers of this change. Oh. You mean the 8x11 black and white printed paper that grabs the attention of no one?! Yes. Left with that discouraging last note, all three of us split the bill (which kinda took away our purpose of "covering the bill"). While this might be (and is) a life lesson learned in this Asian buffet, I had a point to make. Change the status quo U-Like! Instead of making each plate like 14 flippin dollars, just keep the price consistent! That way, callow kids like us can buy our dad lunch on Fathers Day...without emptying our wallets and selling our souls to the chow mein demon. Its possible no one cares, but thanks for your consideration if you read through this entire rant of mine. Sincerely, Someone who still likes your noodles

We went around 1120 right before they opened... All the food but the soup was cold! When we complained he said he checked the food and it was hot. We said we will just leave cause we arent going to eat the cold food. They gave us our check didnt discount or comp anything when we said we feel like we shouldnt have to pay if we didnt eat. He said well we cant put your food back so you have to pay. Let me just say we would go to this place 3 times a month and loved it before. He said if we dont pay our bill that he will call the police so to pay or go to jail. The manager we talked to his name was Ming. He also offered to microwave our plates. We should never have to go to a reaturaunt and have them microwave our food. We will never be back! Sucks because we used to love going here. But when it came down to pay for food we didnt even eat he treated us like we were the ones that were wrong. Management was a joke. Never ever will we go back!! Dont waste your money!

We came from Phoenix on a service call for my husbands work. Decided to stop here since the last time we were up here it was being remodeled. I read other reviews and with hesitation still went in. I must say, I have no idea what anyone could complain about. The restaurant was clean and well organized. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our server was on point. Kept our table clear and our beverages filled. The food was well labeled (no questionable items) and it was all fresh and hot. The sushi bar impressed me and my husband. The food was all covered and not just left out. The food was absolutely delicious. I even ventured out and tried new items. We have found ourselves very satisfied. We see nothing to make any complaints or negative remarks about. So if you find yourself in Prescott craving some Chinese, Definately give this buffet a try. You will not be disappointed.

We went on new years day and the food and management was terrible. We found bug eggs on the crab legs and the other food was hard as a rock. When we confronted the manager he said the crab was supposed to be like that. I have never in my life seen a quarter size spot of little black eggs on my crab legs. He said he would take 2 dollars off our bill. When we said he needed to deduct more then that he said he was going to call the cops on us. I then said yes please do call them because i would like to report the bug eggs. He was extremely rude to us and refused to look at the crab legs. He finally agreed to take 10 off the bill. I had to force him to give me a receipt. I think he was going to call the cops and say I walked out without paying. We will never return to this restaurant.

My review from 2016 I gave them 5 stars "We are at U-Like Chinese buffet the restaurant was closed down for several months while they remodeled and may be under new ownership. I know people keep posting horrible reviews in the past .... but I gotta tell you its phenomenal! Clean, friendly staff, food is well presented, looks fresh and tastes great And you cant beat the price Admittedly its not PF Changs or one of the high-end Chinese restaurants in LA but .... We will be back" 2017 July Year has passed since I wrote the review above well yesterday my wife and I went to U Like for a late lunch and frankly were both sick .... lets just say I dont want to be too far from a bathroom. Prices have gone up and food quality has definitely gone down. Skip it. We will NOT be back

I went there with my friends few weeks ago. It was cheap, so I didnt expect much. But it did not meet my standard at all. The food was not fresh. Everything was dry. Even the sushi. It looked like it was made out of plastic. The waiter was VERY rude. I went with five people, only one was Asian. The waiter only talked to my asian friend in Chinese. We did not know what the waiter was saying. My friend was basically the "waiter." My friend had to translate everything. I mean this is America, and you are a waiter, shouldnt you know how to say Would you like more water?" and "Would you like you bill?" He didnt even say "Thank you for coming." He told my asian friend that in Chinese. This has to be the worst restaurant in Arizona.

Am married to an Asian who is considered one of the best cultural cooks in San Diego. She loves the food here, especially the fried shrimp on Sunday! She is not an easy palate to satisfy! We eat here quite a bit. Me, I enjoy too, just not as much as her cooking! Just being honest (and bias). As far as buffets, have eaten many Asian buffets over the years. This is one of, if not, the best! My only complaint is that sometimes we come too early and the steam tables are not quite up to temp! That is offset by the Wasabi that will make you cry from scovils. I love HOT! Goes well with their fresh Sushi!

Come here often enough to know there is some truth to the complaints but more truth in the compliments. I have always been courteously served by both Americans and Chinese. The food selection is fine. Its not a Las Vegas buffet. Its a Prescott buffet. Always playing gentle oriental music far in the background. Clean and comfortable enough. Equipment is clean and steam tales are steaming. I did notice many of the strongest protests came from young people. Perhaps their munchies were just not satiable. Again, a quiet, polite place with a great price. Food is fine.
